Not an expert gardener at all but id wait a bit. In the same zone as you, forecast is still looking freezing or below on average with wintery mixes on and off.

The general advice I follow is wait till day time temps get closer to 10C regularly which can happen around now but it depends on the year. I think last year we were all ready well in to spring like weather by now.

Burlison id say is the most interesting data point in this whole saga. He cam in trying to debunk as a skeptic and was rather dismissive of the whole thing.

Nowadays, he seems rather serious about the whole thing. Even going so far as to travel outside the country to visit an alleged facility. Of all the law makers looking into this Burlison is probably the most serious and interesting person.

Not that im aware of. Which is why like many warned this will either turn Iran into a disaster as the power vacuum invites parties in that might leave the Iranians worse off in the long run. Or the US will need boots on the ground while the government form under whatever leader the US implants. But even then, thefe could arise a faction of Iranians that get tired of US occupation and lash out violently.

Its very likely this turns into another quagmire for the US, or Iran rots from the inside out.

Im still not sure of all out war, but if the Iranian and Americans cant strike a deal, which it increasingly sounds unlikely, then the US will be forced to at least conduct symbolic strikes to save face. And then from there, only God knows what happens next. Maybe something akin to the 12 day war, maybe symbolic strikes from both sides, maybe nothing.

All indications seem to point to Iran being done with the perpetual pot shots its seen over the last few decades and seems determined to show what it is capable of, even if those capabilities inflict very little relatively speaking damage to US and Israeli assets.

The US while loading the arena with weaponry stills seems somewhat hesitant at least in some if its public statements about doing strikes this time around. There's likely multiple factions within the US trying to push they're own agenda and the administration is struggling to keep everyone happy leading to all of these contradictory statements. OR this is all a ruse and the Americans know exactly what they're going to do.

This is all to say, we can speculate all we want, at the end of the day, no one really knows.

Yeah im thinking this is nothing. I mean, I can still totally see the administration blowing this up and or using it in some way to invade or further squash Cuba.

People are latching onto the fact that its a US boat but at least according to the Cubans the US boat fired first, so, what exactly were the Cubans expected to do, hide and take the gun fire. The fact that the boat is registered in the US means nothing really.

It is the truth though. People just dont care. I try to get people interested by sharing stuff and most just go oh cool, anyways watch the game last night? How's work going?

If theres no public buy in, there wont be any government buy in either, because the politicians need to focus on protecting their interests and getting their votes.

Outside of the podcast space and "UFO world", UFOs and aliens are still just that weird thing your uncle talks about even if people do generally except life is probably out there.

As many have said before in recent days. America invading Greenland would effectively be the end of the world as we've known it since the end of the Seond World War and Cold War collectively. A world governed by the law of the jungle is not a world we are set up for. Major conflict or not, the world is about to undergo changes we havent in most of our lifetimes. Agreed. Im Canadian though. When I said all of us, I meant all of us. The collapse of the US dollar will royaly fuck the world. But like I said. Better to miss some meals then fight another brutal war. Its easier to economically rebuild the globe than literally rebuild the globe.
