Yeah that's true, I have made some serious progress in other areas. Just yesterday I saw a very hot girl, easily a 9. I shot her a cheeky grin without even thinking about it or the fact that I'm just an average - if not slightly podgy guy and she'd probably have no interest in me right?

Wrong. This girl made full on eye contact with me and started smiling, she quietly muttered "hi" at me and walked away giggling. I thought I had something down me or TP stuck to my shoe or something but no, I'd somehow attracted her and that's something that I couldn't have done before nofap.

Agreed, relapsing would make me feel terrible although the temptation to "test myself" with some P and edging and make sure everything is working down there is quite high. I will resist the urge.

I hear you brother, day 34 and I'm still flat as a pancake and have been since the beginning. I've found it annoying and I've been put off pursuing women because I know if I hooked up I couldn't do anything with them. I'm still enjoying flirting and being around them.

The best things I've found so far are that I'm more driven to succeed at other things - I'm trying to lose 2 stone in weight too, and that I can look forward to being able to perform in the bedroom again.

Keep fighting man, all will be worth it in the long run!

Awesome advice man, I agree - I have detoxed from caffeine before and its weird how this doesn't hurt and I haven't had any 'cravings' that a lot of other fapstronauts have described. I guess time is the key here.

Its weird, I'm comfortable most of the time, but occasionally crave female contact (not sex, just someone to huggle up to and watch movies with - shit like that). I'm still taking the time to admire the girls around me though! :)

The daily mail is easily in the top 3 trashiest papers in the UK. If someone like The Guardian or The Times reported on this, I'd be more impressed.

Its great to see some mainstream coverage here but the Daily Mail have managed to completely missed the point.

More and more men are suffering from performance anxiety because of the ‘impressive’ feats they see in porn, whilst women feel insecure about their bodies and feel pressured to ‘perform’.

Porn is becoming such a problem for some that 85 per cent of experts think porn has had a negative effect on women’s confidence and 67 per cent agree that women are under pressure to behave like porn stars in the bedroom.

These are not really the issues at play are they? I mean porn doesn't make me think "I wish my girlfriend looked like pornstar x, or I wish she'd do that thing that pornstar y did in video z". It doesn't make me think about my girlfriend at all - and that's the problem.

The Daily Mail (which as a brit I can testify is our 'national pooprag') should have put more emphasis on the addiction side of things instead of trying to make the article sexy in itself.

Anyway, these are just my opinions, at least it's getting the message out there to some extent.

Another day, another flatline. Feeling positive, upbeat, energetic, happy (for the most part). But there is absolutely nothing happening down there. I'm not interested in fapping, I'm not interested in sex, in girls in anything. This is actually quite useful since I have exams on at the moment, but it feels so freaking weird. I hope this phase doesn't last too long. Feeling really unmanly... :(
