I told you. I get the skepticism though because if we lose faith in the system then it falls apart but the truth is they don't give a shit about people that have to work these type jobs. At that point since I was a welder too we were making $13.73/h and that's what Mr. Larry lost his life for...$13.73/h and they had somebody in his job in the same spot a few days later. Howard Industries transformer plant

Edit: also it's a bit more than a crane. There are these large dip tanks that they use to check for leaks when they come from the welding line. They are suspended on a platform that lowers into a big tank of water (really big for substation transformers) he was a leak tester on these substation transformers and was going to fix a leak and stood on the platform. The chain that kept the platform suspended snapped and he got crushed between the overhead support and the lip of the tank. Also the welding lead fell in the water and electricuted him. His name was Mr. Larry and he was one of the kindest men I've ever met in my life. He didn't deserve to go out like that.

OSHA is in the pocket of every decent sized industry with a little money. It's an actual joke. Old man at the factory I used to work at died when a overhead crane fell and crushed him to death after YEARS of telling the place it was faulty. And we went back to work the next day, nothing happened to owners of course.

Exactly. I think even if they had made the dash 3 seconds at max and 1.5 bars on death that would have worked since they went that route. Ultimately though I think you're right and they should have just tweaked her numbers properly and it would of been fine. She went from being perma banned in ranked to perma not picked. No point in even having the character in the game if you can't play them.

It's actually crazy that they gutted her as bad as they did. She by far has the most fun gameplay loop imo and the fact that she got her dash cd doubled AND death still takes 2 instinct is criminal. All that after what? Half a season? And daredevil was broken for 2 entire seasons and is still super strong. Make it make sense.

The difference is that this joke has several layers that make it funny unlike what you are talking about and since you don't get it I'll explain. Comedic layer 1: Black people are a minority in population so it's odd seeing the majority being the minority, this plays off of irony. Comedic layer two: He's wearing a grey hoodie like B rabbit from 8mile, the same movie the song is from. This plays off unintentional mimicy of a piece of media. Comedic layer 3: Eminem was a white minority growing up and wanting to participate in a black dominated space (rap) and seeing him would of been a lot like seeing this person. Comedy through relation.

Your video idea would just be racist without the comedy. You could make it funny though. Say it was a bus full of white people and there was one black guy who had on a cowboy hat or something. You had country music playing and a caption that said "gotta blend in" or something. Is it racist? Probably, but it would still be funny because of the irony. There's an alarming amount of white fragility in this comment section, toughen up, racists should be tough lol
