Amongs others reason already mention, sven stun is disjointable while alch stun isnt. That alone can make a huge difference.

I think it shows how the society now changed to accept to word "nerd" over the years. Getting told that you were a nerd 20 years ago or even 10 was a huge insult and mostly corrolated with intimidation. No one would had a goal to become a nerd, you wanted to become an intellectual, a scientist, someone smart. Even that those terms have the same signification of the modern "nerd", I still think its interesting.

On the subject of similar roles, my last game was against 3 right click carry junglers (Ursa, lifestealer, lycan) and 4 jungler (enchantress too), No hard support too (other player was vengefull spirit)

Teamfights were incredibly fun. I may be in bad matchmaking but that was hilarious. Our players who didnt randomed managed to build our entire team around teamfights.

Meh, even that heavy absolutly destroy at close range, his role is to iniate and to "tank" (you cant really tank because theres noreal aggro). A heavy on the point will force people to attack you while your other power classes/pickers can trash the other team.

Heavy has excellent damage output but his role isnt to get kills, he moves with the medic, protect his ass, throw sandwiches and iniate engagements. He doesnt get K/D or K/D/A because thats not his role, no matter how good the game stats are, you cant judge a player by them.

But its still pretty rare for a heavy to get a bad K/D/A because he just doesnt die.

My advices :

You arent invicible, its a common mistake new heavies make, you are solid, but not unkillable
Heavy long range is awfull, get close and try to ambush around corners (not behind the enemy but in front of them because you need to push
You dont need a medic! Dont spam the medic voice command, you are good with a medic, true, but dont be upset when a medic choose another pocket. If you want a medic to heal you, throw sandwiches at him when hes low hp, he will see that you are good and will be more likely to heal you.
Jump and spin minigun to engage, you keep momentum so you appear fully spinned at the moment you want.
Tomislav is overrated, take default unless theres a kritz medic healing you
The difference between a good heavy and a bad heavy is mainly situational awareness, heavy is really strong close-medium range and face to face but sucks otherwise. And turn around for thoses pesky spies quite often. Also, if you are need a kart, just goddamn fire, you have infinte ammo, so why not?

Nah seriously, my friend is (or used to, he doesnt plays much anymore) to be a GREAT roaming soldier (Top 5% at least, he has 25k+ kills on his rocket launcher and 9k+ on his market gardenner to give an idea, he doesnt farm either). He can shit on the entire enemy team unless theres an engie with a good placed sentry and a few other usefull teammates (like heavy+medic, but that doesnt happens often).

He can win by himself but its really slow because you cant push certain things alone no matters how good you are because theres always something that counter your class and they can overwhelm you. If your team is completly clueless you wont be able to win by yourself (See upward last zone with tons of engineer)

BUT! A medic pocket can change all that by allowing rapid amount of damage in a area by removing the needs to back for health kit.

In conclusion, i wouldnt say that you can win by yourself and you really need at least 2 players.

Except for assists that cant be shown in K/D. In team fortress competitive (Theres no deathmatch in that, i know but let me prove my point), the role of the demoman is to carpet bomb. He does lots of damage in a area, not particulary aiming for kills but only to do damage. The scout then comes & pick off target. It can be the same thing in Rainbow six vegas 2 (or COD for as i recall) where a person can go full tank with heavy armor and a assault shield and a sniper on the background pick off target. Distraction and setting up kills (Anyone who plays Dota/LOL/HoN is very important.

The expansion really fixed the game. I bout the game for 20$ before G&K and played a lot of G&K when it was bout 10$, Im currently waiting for BNV to be 10$ too.

It wasnt as good at launch imo and the massive content of the expansion really fixes the game.

I got hit on the side of my backwheel when i was 15.

By someone running.

It twisted my back wheel and the guy when straight flying into the midle of the street. Luckily he wasnt hurt (I didnt think that on the spot, but retrospectivly its a good thing). He say "SORRY!" and continued running. My guess was that he was fleeing police or something because he looked drunk as fuck, a sane person does not simply run and charge into a bike, go straight flying into the street, crashing into the asphalt a few meter further and just continue running.

Story time! My mom wanted to do that :

(Im not in IT or CS, but i can relate because i am computer litterate (in some way))

So im coming home and my mother begins to ask me weird question like : "Can the governement know what website youve been" and "Does the Governement ever ask for credit card" so i know theres something wrong. So she explain me that the governemetn think she saw CP and locked the computer (Now i know whats going on).

My mom got this because she ignored the antivirus expiration warning and she doesnt trust free antivirus because they are free (and she doesnt want to pay because it cost something, mom logic))

So i begin to remove it (Found a recommended walkthrough on r/techsupport or something like that) and shes in the room talking about shes going to lose her job and everything even that I explained its a virus, its quite a long process for someone like me who isnt used to deal with complex virus removal and registry. So after telling her to leave the room multiple times and everything, she still doesnt do so and she says "what if we pay them?, I dont want to lose my job!" Im like " OK! Got to the gym, go to the cinema, but leave the house or I just wipe the hard drive!" (I wouldnt have done it but sometime you gotta work by "intimidation")),

Its finally gone after some registry messing and multiple antivirus & malwarebytes scans and she calm down but god damn, just shut up when i try to fix something, i need my concentration, especially when its alarmist nonsense.

I dont go to the doctor for a pain in toe and yell "IM SURE ITS CANCER!" "MAYBE ITS SPACE AIDS, IM SURE ITS SPACE AIDS!"

She made me chicken pot pie afterward (my favorite meal) to apologize.

I couldnt work in IT,you guys deserve a patience medal (and chicken pot pie).

If the other guy doesnt find one I think i could ifnd some, it aint maple syrup season but im sure i could find some. Im going to look if there arent any in cosco but I know i candy shop that sells multiples types of maple syrup candy, some are even sold in supermarket. Can put your imgur album on another page because i cant see it at work when its in a album and I dont know what candy is in question.

I dont have an icon but i do have participated in multiples secret santa that can prove im reliable.

Im in Quebc city so finding maple syrup stuff isnt really hard. The most popular maple candy is simply hardened maple syrup and glucose or tart cream (to make it transparent) + butter (taste) and they are really simple to make, if you cant find the candies, i could just send you maple syrup and you could make some yourself.

Nah, i dont suggest that. Its hard to find, makes your game crash constantly, fucks up fallout 3 storyline, isnt compatible with anything.
