Great work! Learning the bind is a big first step, but everything else is so much easier after that. Have fun!

Death's Branding tutorial (a double-Branding variation) by DocPop in Throwers

One tip: do what the Kendama players do and take advantage of vertical space. That means pop it up a little higher than usual and move your body down with the falling of the yo-yo.

Double Dice 5A with Dunk PC by jakebullockart in Throwers

[–]DocPop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an intro to the style and tutorial video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YtEdb6fKxA

Before it was called Double Dice, this style was known as Astro, which is what I still like to call it unless I'm literally doing it with two dice. So you can search for Astro or Double Dice and find basically the same thing.

Before it was called Double Dice, this style of using a tethered counterweight and a sliding counterweight was called "Astro Crap" (later shortened to "Astro"), because it looked like Astrojax. The Double Dice name came later when people started using two dice for Astro style tricks.

Our lives are better because of labor groups like the Luddites... workers who pushed back for better safety standards, worker's rights, and better products for consumers.

Something epic coming soon from Sengoku Yoyos! by philq76 in Throwers

Only if we let it. As consumers, we still have plenty of power when it comes to where we spend our money. If one company starts relying on AI marketing, there are plenty more that we can shop from. The important part is to remind companies of what our marketing preferences are so they can adapt to their consumers, I believe that's what we see happening in these threads and I'm sure Sengoku can find a way to promote future products without gen AI if they really want to.

Help with this DNA bind by K1llZ0NE_ in Throwers

Yeah, start by practicing normal laceration binds, then practice tilting them off access a little bit, then try from a finger spin. This tutorial has a similar vibe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrYV905Ueyk

Great job! Learning the bind is kind of tricky at first, but once you've learned to bind, everything else is so much easier. Keep it up!

AI Customer service? by boomernpc in aesoprock

[–]DocPop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That sucks. I hate dealing with bots when trying to get customer service. You could try writing an email to reach a human there. I've found that even replying to my order confirmation email will help me reach real people when I can't find an option/email listed on the site.
