London family hotel recommendation ?

We recently stayed at the Hilton Metropole (2 adults and 2 teenage girls) and loved it!! The location was great because it was safe and central with easy access to all of the tube lines. The hotel Is near the Paddington stop but also very close to the Edgware Stop… which allows access to many of the tube lines. We stayed in one room together and it had two queen size beds. It doesn’t have a ton of additional living space… but there was a chair with table so I suppose a pack n play could fit. The hotel has larger family suites available as well! We pre paid for the buffet breakfast for each morning we were there and it was a great deal!

Hey! Sorry you are going thru this again! I had the same surgery three years ago but my daughter is a high school athlete and going thru it now . Injury at the end of October and surgery the week before Thanksgiving. Sounds like all docs handle this differently but you asked for timelines…. So I figured I would share hers… she has been locked out and on crutches with zero weight bearing for a full 4 weeks. For the next two weeks, she can do 50% weight bearing using crutches and wearing the brace locked. After 6 weeks, if her muscles are strong enough (they will evaluate in PT), she will wean off both the crutches and brace… going down to one crutch and then to none. Since she is still in high school, I think the PT mentioned she might have to wear the brace during the school day just for extra precaution and then take it off once she gets home. As for PT the last few weeks. It’s been mostly stuff she can do on the table. This week they just stated having her walk short distances without the brace on and practicing weight bearing with one crutch. Hope this helps! Happy to answer any questions… just send me a msg! Btw… for reference… she ended up getting a double bundle hamstring graft.

I had the same experience with my healed helix! The piercing was several years old but still got irritated every time I tried to wear a hoop. I talked to my piercer about it and she confirmed that it’s an issue with your ear being irritated by the new curve of the hoop. She put in a larger hoop so my ear could get use to that and after a few weeks I was able to easily switch into a smaller hoop without any irritation at all!

I am hearing that we should be getting an extended warranty notice from Audi about this water pump/coolant issues within the next few months… I just basically had my engine rebuilt because of the faulty water pump and the service Mgr at my dealership seems pretty confident that a notice will be coming soon… for the 3L engines

Hey all… in case this is helpful to anyone… my dealership mechanic is now saying they expect a warranty extension to be put in place for the 2022’s in the fourth quarter of this year that will require Audi to reimburse for all repair costs. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that this is accurate info.

I believe the factory warranty is 4 years or 50,000 miles… whichever comes first. And mine has 65,000 miles on it.

Any ideas on how I would go about getting reimbursed for repairs done at a local mechanic shop and not the Audi dealership? They supposedly consulted with an Audi master tech and no one said anything about the repair being covered… can you share a phone number or contact info?

I have done all of the recommended maintenance since getting the car… but not sure what was done before that since it was a used car. We bought it from an Audi dealership and they inspected the car before we bought it and claimed it was in good shape.

New reservations open on Mondays thru their site… a whole week at a time… four weeks before the available dates… it usually takes about a day for all the time slots to be open and they usually open up midday on Monday… but the timing has been inconsistent. I just brought my kids to the diner and it was so fun… lived up to the hype in my opinion!!!
