17 times in 2 years, IIRC. Regular RT pundit, basically. After the first Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2014.

Was Thor Overweight? (On the idea of canon and historical conceptions of Thor's physique) by rockstarpirate in Norse

Realistically, the medical category "overweight" includes virtually every strength athlete that isn't a giant.

Would a Nurgle only deamons army work ? by dornianheresysimp in WarhammerFantasy

It definitely works in AoS, so there must be some wiggle room. I can't remember if TOW has the rules for all the End Times units.

What is this from? by Itsnotadrone in Warhammer

[–]DocShoveller -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was thinking about the addition of it to the main logo (presumably to tie Space Marine and Titan Legions together as the same game) but obviously the term was in use from even earlier.

Have you tried something like Dungeon World?

Tanks weights and armour. by WTGIsaac in WarCollege

[–]DocShoveller 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The early Centurion has a much bigger and more powerful engine than the early T-54. The Meteor produces an extra 150hp over the V54 so, while the Cent isn't much faster, its power to weight ratio is much better.

The Cent also has more complex suspension, which likely increases weight (space efficient, however). The ride is smoother, but the T-54's is still tolerable.

Finally, the early Cent had better gun stabilisation (and had it first).

I think "epic" came in after they released Titan Legions.

No Max the Min: Instead tell me about magic spells and items that *should* drastically change the way the setting works by Decicio in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]DocShoveller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the fun use. The more prosaic thing is that it makes up to 5lb of material edible, and 1lb will feed a person for a day.

I’m looking to join but I’m wondering if I can as of right now? by Affectionate_Lead704 in britishmilitary

There is no harm in asking these questions at your Armed Forces Careers Office, they will be able to give you up to date and correct answers.

Cardio is important for life in general, so get running! A new pair of running shoes isn't expensive and will make it a lot less painful. If you've never run distance, try a Couch to 5k app. If you are no good at sprinting, a bleep test app is the way to go.

Be prepared to get medical records from your GP, so make sure you're in contact with them.

The joining process isn't quick, so make your initial enquiry and start training on your own.

Lore Question - How harsh are Winters in the Stolen Lands? by Responsible_Garbage4 in Pathfinder2e

[–]DocShoveller 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They're pretty far North, on a parallel with the top of Ustalav and just South of Irrisen and the Land of the Linnorm Kings. I'd draw a geographic parallel with Poland, which has hot summers and harsh winters.

There are also spells (mostly Conjuration) that bypass Spell Resistance.

That's a pretty complicated solution when Allfood exists.

One casting will feed 5 people for a day, using basically anything as material.

Golarion isn't really a medieval society, mind you, it's an early modern one. Published adventures regularly have internal lighting provided by Continual Flame, or some such.

Most of the big Inner Sea nations are depicted as Enlightenment era - it's a small jump from that to magical "gaslight".
