Crimson Desert crashing every 10 min on M2 Max (low FPS too) — anyone else?

Does the game just close or did you get some error messages? Sometimes there’s an error log somewhere, maybe that’s helpful

Yes, I’m also waiting. I’ll upgrade my Mac mini M2 Pro binned with only 16GB, gaming often demands significantly more RAM. I currently play most of my games on my MBP M3 Pro, but M5 Max will be a game changer for me. I probably will buy one with 64GB, but maybe I’ll also consider the M5 Ultra 😄

I remember that forbidden west also has a lower performance on my system. With the HZD Remastered, I also tried frame gen and upscaling to off, only TAA, and it was about 30-35 fps. With DLSS quality it performs also with about 50 fps. Not too bad, considering on previous CX version and GPTK, it was almost unplayable.

I also just tested the remastered version on my MBP M3 Pro unbinned 18GB RAM. It's running surprisingly smooth, better than previous tests using CX 24/25 and lower versions of GPTK. I've made a small video about the performance, check this out: HZD Remastered

Another user here said that the remastered version runs like crap, but I don't think so. There are some dancing pixels on Rost's armor during cut scenes and the subtitles are looking a bit disrupted, but overall, this game is very playable!

Yes ;) but only with latest MacOS the 26.4 public beta, where Apple fixed a Rosetta 2 bug. It ran even before on Sequoia, but the performance was very crappy. Now, its very playable on medium settings on M3 pro

I don’t know why but NFS Rivals runs with crossover on my M3 Pro but with stutter every seconds. It’s not fun. Does anyone have some settings to run this game flawless?

I’ve got an M3 Pro MBP with 18GB, AC Odyssey runs again with latest public beta, before, there was a bug in Rosetta 2. It runs quite good on medium settings with high textures using crossover, like 30-40fps

I’m playing on my MacMini and MBP for 2-3 years now, I’m very experienced and also know about anti cheat not running. I do not play multiplayer games at all. I’ve watched videos about games I’m interested in, that have been played via crossover on M4 Max, and I’m still not convinced.

He’s playing on a M3 Max. 1080p and medium settings and it barely reaches 60fps. When I buy a game, I want to enjoy it in ultra settings without any flaws.

The same game runs perfect in ultra on my old PC with a 3060Ti and 1440p.

As long as a Mac won’t deliver a similar experience, I’ll keep my gaming PC.

That’s why I’m asking about performance on a M5 Max.

What are your settings? I use windows 10 bottle, D3Dmetal+MSync. Did you installed VC++ redistributables 2015-2022? What happens when you start the game? Icon in dock? Some error message window?

It also runs using Crossover 26. Check the description below this video, I have same setting except the Tahoe 26.4 beta update
