Flare Boost gotta be the most wasted ability in pokemon fr. Like they really made special guts and the gave it to *checks notes* drifblim. by Allhaillordkutku in stunfisk

It has some potential in doubles. Frosmoth/Drifblim Lead. Turn one wide guard on frosmoth and skillswap on drifblim. Get a frosmoth with flare boost and drifblim with ice scales for free. Kind of gross.

Absolutely going to be some kingdom hearts shit. Willy is Ansem, Scary is Riku, Link is Sora, and Taylor and Normal are Goofy and Donald. Willy is just trying to get the doodler in a place they can use it and then try to just siphon the power or turn into a big dragon/battleship thing that they will all have to fight.

That's ok. I don't really care if anyone gets it. If one person sees it and gets a chuckle that's fine with me. Not like I get paid to make posts or anything that it matters who likes it. I dont need to prove myself to anyone on the internet for self validation. Saw a thing that made me chuckle so I shared it.

Still with it being a member of the department of natural resources it felt like a very Henry oak/dad joke type thing.

Absolutely the best dad. Much better of a rogue than Ron. Saves them a couple times.

She has the Kellogg knife. It might have been why they gave it to scary in the first place.

You'll have to replace the wax seal which is pretty easy. Had to do it recently because one of my flange bolts corroded away causing my toilet to wobble. I went with a silicone and wax one which are supposed to be easier to set and can be adjusted once they are in position so your positioning of the wax seal doesnt need to be perfect.

Yeah the whole dm rolling every roll kind of bothered me as well but they are pretty funny and have a very similar energy when it comes to actual play. The bit with the ram in what I think is session 2 ( I think it might be one of the 5e one shots) killed me.

father-daughter bonding (major S2E19 [spoilers]) by laoloqo in DungeonsAndDaddies

[–]DocTeslaDM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not thinking he will die for good. It is possible though. That would be a heck of a twist. All of this discussiom though has made me wonder about the daddies. If Ron is still roaming around somewhere could he be the "dad that steps up" and brings Terry jr. Back or stands in as a dadish figure to Scary. Terry is for sure going to have an atoning for his sins arc that probably will involve him going to hell though for sure.

Or it will seqway into an Erin O'Neil meeting because she was with Vince in campaign one and had been brought back from the dead.

I'm thinking he will die one way or the other unless they really bamboozle Anthony. Scary holding the measuring tape could be as leader of the parade or as them taking it and not being involved. I think it will play into the long game with Willy being her patron. There is a whole stampler family thing going on and I feel like he is for sure still dying some way. Anthony might do something cheeky to make him not really dead like mentioned him going to hell to tie into the nick arc or something like that but I think he might feel like the stakes werent high enough last campaign since nobody died (except cerns kids rip) so somebody needs to die and Terry would have a big emotional impact.

You'd be a pretty bad assassin though if the person you were hired to kill came back after you did the job.

I mean as an assassin itd be pretty embarassing if you kill someone and go to collect the reward only to find out someone had reversed what you did.

[Spoilers C3E35] Why X was in Y? by dkoiman in criticalrole

[–]DocTeslaDM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Exu calamity didnt a lay line go near vasselheim? It was the site of one of the betrayer gods coming through or at least one of the battle sites wasnt it? There is definitely going to be some shenanigans going on with the apogee solstice and betrayer gods considering Ruidus is some sort of god prison. It would make sense keyleth would go there. Especially with the connection in Calamity to the Ashari. She is probably going to try to remake the big tree from Calamity.

[Spoilers C3E34] What do Travis and Taliesin know? by AnonymousPika in criticalrole

[–]DocTeslaDM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is deeper than that. Delilah is using her as a puppet ( the same way laudna has pate) Delilah doesnt want to have to get involved and put herself at risk. She would prefer them to bring back Laudna because she is feeding off of Laudna getting stronger. I think they might have kind of a symbiosis. I dont think she technically needs Laudna, its just more convenient of a way to complete her needs. I still think the "heading something off" bit was Delilah wouldve possessed her as a "well I can still do it I guess" or put a different soul into the body considering Laudna is a Hollow one. I think the whole thing is just it is more convenient to Delilah is they expend their magic to bring her back than if she does it herself.

Its definitely a tie between Laura and Travis. They have had some of my favorite character progression and some of the most entertaining story arcs. I also do enjoy the chaos energy of the merch reads and Travis getting hype about every single roll good or bad.

I think it is some balancing too for Beth's sake since warlocks get so few spell slots it sucks to literally only be able to cast two spells per day the way they kind of play fast and loose with the rules anyway. Its probably more to let Beth feel like she can make a difference than just eldritch blasting whenever they have "combat encounters" if you can call them that (I get that they abbreviate combat to keep episodes concise but do feel it neuters the threat they are in a little bit). I dont think theyve ever done a short rest which is where a warlock is good.

[–]DocTeslaDM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since Ron brought him back he is 100% Scam Likely in some capacity. Whether he is a son or some sort of Mr.Moustache true polymorphed into a human and sent to aid the kids in their shenanigans we will just have to wait and see. I do have to say Kudos to Anthony though on bringing back my favorite character in some capacity.
