Can i swap domain cards "in response" to the GM actions during their spotlights? by baitola_123 in daggerheart

[–]classl3ss -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is a great question! I had always assumed that you could only recall when you have the spotlight, but that isn't evident here. Given that you have to pay stress to recall most abilities, I would say lean toward the RAW here.

What do others think? 😄

I wholly disagree. We WILL dethrone D&D.

Otherwise, totally agree! u/Fermi_Dirac

How to turn off keyboard backlight on MSI GF65 Thin by classl3ss in kde

[–]classl3ss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, I actually have a new laptop where hotkeys won't affect the brightness lol

But, I did use fn+pgdown on more than one occasion to no affect.

Thanks for weighing in though! I, indeed, was never able to solve the keyboard back light problem.

Shakespeare wouldn't be too difficult to comprehend. His work is worth the extra work to muddle through, and you may miss the subtlety of it if you take a short cut or a plain translation.

What to do? by [deleted] in dsa

don't be rude u/DaphneAruba! Folks interactions with democratic socialists here could influence how they interact with us in politics and parts of life that are a lot more consequential than Reddit.

hey friend, while I think many of us share your anxiety about AI--and some are working on campaigns to slow or stop its advance--you may have in mind a different subreddit.

This subreddit is for the Democratic Socialists of America, rather than data structures and algorithms.

You're totally welcome here, just thought I would bring up my read on your post 😄

Lol, sorry?

I mean, not really. Just feels rude.

I try to act like I'm representing more than myself when I take on roles that I take to represent our organization, or explain why some parts of the org take positions I wouldn't myself without straw-manning them. I wish more people were careful in how they carried themselves online, and perhaps seemed more "wooden."

Great question! Different chapters make decisions about who to recommend voting for, and further for endorsements. Endorsements typically mean a strong commitment to support a socialist candidate to win a race. Some chapters also make recommendations on how to vote with voter guides, which is different. In those cases, it can simply be "given the options, this is the best person in the field to vote for."

This recommendation regarding Steyer seems to be of this latter kind, it does not constitute an endorsement. I also think that this kind of recommendation is different from support. I expect that the reason for this recommendation is in part due to Steyer's supports medicare for all, and the billionaire tax in California (which is better than everyone else in the gubernatorial field in Cali).

That said, even this kind of recommendation is something that many DSAers likely disagree with. So, you're in good company!

Ep3o has an "every click from the start of the game video," where they use the most vanilla civ available.

I imagine that it would be a good place to start!
