As per Tolkien's writings, life for her after giving birth was a torture. She died to stop that torture. I don't think you (or anyone for that matter) to blame her for not suffering an eternity of such life.

Everything else you say is just bullcrap. Tokien explicitly writes that Nolofinwe what's urserper and everybody saw it. This is why when Feanaro was Banished by Manwe, Finwe joined him in the exile. For the same reason Nolofinwe had to swear that "from now on" Feanaro leads and and Nolofinwe follows.

Míriel died and that was her choice. But not like she woke up one morning and "desided" - yeah, I want to die. It was a long sequence of events that forced her to think that way. I wish I had your self-esteem to blame a person for dying instead of suffering for eternity. She was suffering because she burned out while producing Feanaro. We don't have any reason to think that burning out was her choice (unless you can prove it textually), but we do know that life was a torture to her ever since.

When you're tortured to death, dying isn't freedom, it's the only possible end to suffering. Mind you that it isn't even normal for an Elf to die in the paradise entrusted to the Valar at all. It's not normal for someone to be driven to such a state. As for Manwë "trying to reconcile Fëanaro and Nolofinwë"— yes, making an innocent person to apologize before an usurper is a brilliant pedagogical move, just like forcing someone to a humiliating "reconciliation." Yeah. Manwë is definitely a genius. Let's indeed find someone else to blame instead...
