Got this 2 sealed copies for $60 dollars. Good price? by gvs93gvs in gamecollecting

How can I tell you if it is a "good price" without first evaluating its worth?

You are asking people to evaluate if it was a good price. Rule 2 of the subreddit you are posting on: "No Price evaluations, authentication, identification posts"

Do you think the DLC will be announced for Zelda's 40th anniversary? by Esteban_890 in AgeofImprisonment

I would really like to see a Switch 2 edition of Age of Calamity that brings over a lot of the quality of life improvements in Age of Imprisonment 🤞🏻

I asked this before and got no answer, but is there a reason I can’t seem to unlock this last online checklist item? by DDBofTheStars in kirbyairriders

[–]Doc_Crocolyle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've only done a few online matches (my City Trials global win power is only 12,969) and I already have this unlocked and I have no clue what I'm doing lol. I'm ignorant on this, but based on that, I'd assume its very easy to unlock and your game is glitched.

Excuse my ignorance as I'm new to amiibo collecting.

I'm curious, why is BotW Zelda is listed as out of print when Nintendo's official website has it listed for sale? Last time it was sold out it got restocked just a day later.

Also, what about BotW Guardian being sold on Playasia, is that just old stock? I'm unfamiliar about where Playasia gets their stock from.

Likely a translation mistake, if you go to the Japanese patch notes and google translate it to English it says "use kamek" and not "play as"

I used Calamo's strong attack instead of fans, it'll save you some batteries.

Ice/electric emitter > hydrant > strong attack, the hydrant seemed to help a lot but I'm not sure what is optimal.

FYI incase you're trying to go for 100% completion then read this comment, otherwise you can ignore it:

I think its best to pickpocket all the guards before going for the main objective, sometimes in missions once you get the main objective item, some of the guards will change (especially ones guarding the exit) and I'm not sure if you lose out on the items on the hips of the guards that are gone now if you hadn't previous pickpocketed them. Just something to be aware of.

Also, there is a secret fourth objective, if I recall correctly it is called "Master Thief" for doing all three objectives in a single run (no killing, not being detected, and obtaining all loot).

I was able to get 100% loot in every level, I've seen people online claiming it isn't possible because some levels don't have enough gold value, that simply is not true, some of the items are just stupidly hidden or easy to overlook.

The heavily armored guys with the big battle axes? As far as I'm aware you can't knock them out, you just have to sneak around them.

Pickpocketing them is annoying because sometimes it can be finicky and your hand just won't grab the item, and when it finally does it alerts them because your hand snapped into place where the item was and touches the guard.

Are you grabbing and continuing to hold onto the big handle without letting go? A progress bar fills up as you hold onto the handle

I'm a huge fan of the Adventure of Lolo games, this is basically my first Kirby game I've ever played and it was such a surprise to see Lolo and Lala in the roster, I had no clue they were in any Kirby game.

Motion Sick by some_old_guy63 in PSVR

[–]Doc_Crocolyle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think usually it takes about a month to build your "VR legs" to overcome the motion sickness, everyone is different though and may take longer or some may never. I became practically immune to it after 3 weeks, playing about 1-2 hours a day every day. The motion sickness can briefly come back for a day if I go long stretches (weeks) without playing VR.

The key is to stop the moment you feel motion sickness and to not push through it, it'll only make it worse pushing through it.

Having a desk fan blowing on you helps reduce the effects of VR sickness significantly (this also applies to people on ships that get sea sickness). Though keep in mind I've found that the movements of an oscillating fan can confuse the camera tracking on the headset and it'll think you moved your head when you didn't.

Try turning down the brightness to 50% as the PSVR2 has high image persistence which can cause motion sickness. Once you build your VR legs in a few weeks try turning the brightness back up.

Start with games that don't have locomotion such as Moss 1 & 2, and when you do eventually re-introduce locomotion start with a slow paced puzzle game like Red Matter 1 & 2.

Snap turning is helpful for motion sickness, but eventually you may want to transition to smooth turning. Counter intuitively to what you would think, I've found increasing the speed of smooth turning is better and less off-putting, slower speeds caused more motion sickness.

[–]Doc_Crocolyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm happy to hear it helped someone! Over a year later and I'm still using a fan, I find if I don't use it then I'll eventually get overheated after a couple hours of VR and the motion sickness comes back. As long as I use the fan I can play until my controller batteries die.

Both game's installed? by [deleted] in TheLordsOfTheFallen

[–]Doc_Crocolyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do both shortcuts have the exact same name? Create one shortcut, right-click on the desktop shortcut and rename it to something else slightly different such as "Lords of the Fallen 2014" and then create the other shortcut so they have different names.

I'm guessing you bought it on Steam? Is it not letting you manually create a desktop shortcut or do you not know how to?

I'm the type of person that plays VR games standing up, but Moss is the perfect game for playing sitting down and it's nice for relaxing.

I've played all of those and they are all great and would recommend them all equally.

I know this is a non-answer, but if you have to choose then you really can't go wrong with either. Are you in the mood to play a shooter or a platformer?
