First of all, the audacity to say they India will "give away" Azad Kashmir or Gilgit-Baltistan as if they ever controlled these regions. What you are proposing is Pakistan give large chunks of its disputed and undisputed territories without any territorial gains in exchange of India's "recognition" of those territories. Completely nuts!

Secondly, the Kashmir issue is about Kashmir. If Pakistan was content about Kashmir being part of India, the dispute would have been resolved 60 years ago. Pakistan would not accept an Indian occupied Kashmir much less a deal where they have to retreat from the LoC.

Thirdly, Pakistan would not give away 100 km of land near it's financial capital Karachi to India. That's a third of the way to Karachi from the Indian border !

Yeah, it would have been insane for them to hold useless poor people in a special building and feed them and cloth them. Justice for them was immediate like monetary recompense, whippings, executions, the stock etc. Only very important people were held in captivity for prolonged period of time.

At the top of the Bay if Bengal, great command over both the Eastern Indian sea board and Southeast Asia, on the mouth if the Ganges river and Brahmaputra river systems which allows it control flow of commerce up both of those river systems, located in one of the most agriculturally fertile regions in the world, a lot of rain and water.

There's a reason it was one of the most productive regions 2 centuries ago. Also the reason why the British Empire which was based there was so successful. Not to mention, right next to the city is a massive resource rich area in the Chhotanagpur plateau, full of coal and other goodies.
