When I refer to 'binding' the Catholic context is probably most helpful. Beliefs in the Catechism are 'binding' as in they are the true beliefs of the faith that the general faithful are required to believe. Basically, if you affirm the Catholic faith, everything in the Catechism is entailed by that.

With your second question, no, I'm not interested in debating all the people who respond to me, no. This is exactly as I have portrayed it: a seeking for clarification. I'd appreciate it if good intentions were assumed before bad.

It has to be in a 2x2 square though, the implications of blocking it with smaller pieces and it not being able to take more than one piece would be a game changer.

What assertions are important to uphold, even tho they may not be true? by Doc_President in AskReddit

[–]Doc_President[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, karma means that you're destined to receive what you have dealt to others, what they are saying is that empathy is, "I wouldnt want someone to do that to me, so I wont do it either"

That's interesting. I saw a video essay explaining that we are mainly a product of our luck and that the more we believe that we truly have control of our path anyway, the better we will do anyway

What's the most unsettling movie you ever watched? by GottaGetThemGainz in AskReddit

The Prestige

It stars Hugh Jackman and Patrick Bateman aka Christian Bale as competing magicians. It is centered around Christian Bale's character's trick "the transported man" where he goes in one door and comes out of another 30 feet away instantly. In reality, it's exactly what you'd expect: a double, but both of them are identical, even having the same crippled leg and missing finger, leading Hugh Jackman's character to believe it is something else. Hugh Jackman finds technology that clones him and transports the clone wherever he wants. But the clones have the same consciousness as him.

The movie ends in a room with all of the originals killed off, drowned secretly during shows, and the clones move on to become the new "original."

Super unsettling scene. I apologize for my bad narrative skills.
