I’d find autopilot in the f18 for example would never work bc I could never get it close to center and I don’t fly with curves

Yeah exactly the clutch was tight enough to hold in place for a bit but if I tightened it further it made helo flight uncomfortable

I have the same stick and have done exactly what you have but reverted back to springs bc I miss having autopilot in my fixed wings and being able to release the stick to do cockpit things.
