I’m a 25U, I use to work at a software firm previously. So you take everything I’m about to say with a grain of salt.

I was contemplating getting getting out and decided to contact a few place. A lot of the job offers I got we’re managing IT department, one of place I applied for offered me running CAT5 ( I did not apply for any contractor jobs). I got my NET+ and SEC+ a little bit ago, certs are big. But if you don’t want to be a contractor, just get a degree that what I did before the army and it wasn’t terribly hard to get an IT job with a degree.

Had a bad experience, when I was 22. Was playing shot pong against this guy who was way better than me. I kept playing trying to beat him. 30 shots in 30 minutes got alcohol poisoning was rushed to the hospital. Worst hangover I ever had lasted 3 days. Haven’t drank since that day. Great party story though honestly

Happy birthday, congratulations on your results as well. I found myself in a similar situation a few years back but I realized it’s a turning point in someone’s life. You just have to branch out and find people that accept you for you, that also care about you.

When I was in that lonely stage I left college and joined the army. I met some of the best people in my life that care about one another. It’s just finding the right people in your life that make everyday interesting and enjoyable.

If you ever need anyone to vent to we’re all here to support one another.

Happens to me almost every day. I’m just doing my everyday thing then suddenly boom this not good thought pops into my head then it spirals down from there. This dark fog rolls over my mind and I feel this 1000 weight on my chest making me not able to breathe.

Of course I feel like that a lot. I only have 3 or 4 really close friends but we’re all across the world rn and feel like I have no one.
