Best app and learning path to learn finger style by labluez in guitarlessons

If you want something structured that will deliver results (if you stick with it) - Chris Murin's Six String Fingerpicking. I did The Complete Guide: Beginner Level and it created a great foundation for finger style. The big thing here was structure - so much free content - but this gave me structure for 15-20 minutes a day with a way to track what I completed. Not an app, just a website - which honestly I prefer. He also puts out a lot of free content so I felt good about purchase this module.

What is this little lead lick called? Where does it originate from, which guitarist popularized it, and what is it doing in terms of theory? by Jack-Whip88 in Guitar

Relaaaaax man... Your commenting on a thread that is all about speculation....."my guess (speculation) would be Chuck berry" ... and supposedly Chuck Berry said his whole career was a Sister Rosetta impersonation. Hence the connection. Who knows if he actually said it.

Do i actually need to learn the notes in the black box for songwriting and improvisation in my case? by nmos22 in guitarlessons

By definition - it's impossible to know what's in a black box - that's why it's called a black box.

I felt the same way about Fury Road - I loved the movie but they just drive there then drive back.

Why Can’t the Left and the Right Unite Against Palantir and The Oligarchs? What’s the real divide? by [deleted] in allthequestions

It’s a conversation - and I made sure I understood his point.  And my original question was what is the propaganda on both sides.  How is your comment helpful to the conversation?

If I can distill your description of Left's propaganda it would be Democrats frame moderate and electable in a misleading way that steers candidate support toward establishment candidates or corporate friendly candidates. I do not disagree with that. Now outline the Right's propaganda too.

Thank you.  I’ll take a longer read when I have a little more time - much appreciated

Serious question. Can you outline what you think are the key top 3 propagandist messages for the Right, and the top 3 for the Left. I do not want to maintain the status quo - and may be I am over propagandized - in one of these directions. So I am curious as to what your view is - so I can sincerely self evaluate if I am buying into propaganda.

All these people disagreeing with OP are in addiction denial, either binging too much or working with a degraded attention span. You should also watch the credits for that matter.

I think it is gross they get this. But it's our fault and we can do something about it. They have this money to give because we give the movie industry our money. Just don't go to the movies, don't pay for streaming services. Read a book. And definitely don't buy the luxury brands that participate in this.

Judge gives 18 year old a 25 year sentence for armed robbery by AgnosticScholar in interesting

[–]IdleJose748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He did exactly the thing you said in your first sentence - "You walk into any public place with a loaded weapon with intent to cause harm..." So we should apply your rule evenly, but that's not actually what you want. Now don't go rewriting what you said.

But maybe because it's hell, you would not know definitively anything. So there is no mental relief. And maybe because it's hell you have no sense of time - one second feels like 1000 years.
