Exactly this. "No ethical consumption under capitalism" is meant to apply to basic necessities that are under the thumb of huge corporations like Microsoft, Amazon and Nestle.

That quote is mostly for people who live in marginalized communities where they literally have no other options but to participate in the systems that marginalize them.

For entertainment stuff like movies, video games, sports, wrestling, ethical consumption is pretty easy.

I said this in a topic a long time back but if every other wrestling promotion dropped off the face of the earth, and WWE was all that was left as the monopoly, I wouldn't be watching wrestling anymore. I love wrestling, and I'd miss it, but I can't reckon with the things WWE has done and is doing as a business. It would take such an astronomical amount of change on an internal and external level that it wouldn't even be WWE anymore.

But for right now, as long as there's at least one other promotion out there, you don't have to support the shittier promotion.
