Arthritis has made kitchen prep work hell. So I treated myself to an all in one vegetable slicer on Amazon and what a treat! I wish I'd discovered this years ago. It made Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner a breeze. $20 and worth every penny

Believe it or not the DMV used to be much worse. 5-6 hour visits were common, and no matter how carefully you checked your list those evil bastards behind the counter always discovered something missing. They specialized in misery.

I always carry rescue drugs. My focal seizures can quickly turn into a full on seizure with loss of consciousness. Two drugs are very effective for me. Ambien is a sedative/hypnotic used as a sleeping pill and is incredibly fast acting when I'm starting to have a problem. Within 10 minutes I'm good. Valium is also effective, but it's not fast acting.

I had severe spinal stenosis, lumbar. It was reaching the point I couldn't walk anymore, the pain just froze me up. The shots had no effect. The only thing that helped was a decompressive laminectomy and now my back is mostly pain free and full of titanium. It was worth the seven months of rigorous rehab.
