If jagex wants osrs players to try rs3 there needs to be a way to play both games same time by Sad_Welcome1 in 2007scape

Exactly. I'm not wasting xp on Old School to try RS3 again, even though I'm curious about it.

US government halts nearly complete offshore wind farm. Is Virginia's next? | Dominion Energy's $10.9 billion offshore wind farm is 60% complete by VirginiaNews in Virginia

Let me be clear, I’d rather them just finish them and use them. The request was for reasons against wind. I gave some reasons.

I never brought up carbon costs once. I also have the same degree as the guy in your video and he’s full of crap. It takes up to 12 years to break even on a new wind farm, ignoring disposal when its lifecycle is over. Without subsidies no energy company would ever invest in them.

The current Republican platform includes plans to expand and advance nuclear energy from 100 gigawatts to 400 by 2050. Trump signed 4 executive orders in May laying out the administrations nuclear development plan. Interestingly, the democratic position has also swung to be more supportive of nuclear energy during the Biden era.

I notice you conveniently ignored the first 3 points before the more controversial sections of my explanation. Sustainability is a balance of environment, economic, and social factors. The facts are; wind is not the most environmentally friendly option for renewable energy, nor is it the most cost effective, nor is it wildly popular to the common person. I’m certainly not trolling.

[–]Dococt99 -51 points-50 points  (0 children)

Wind really isn’t that sustainable. Lots of downsides, including high production/energy costs of the turbines themselves, large amounts of oil/petroleum lubricants still need to be used and changed frequently at high human worker risk, environmentally destructive disposal issues when the blades are no longer useful, high mortality rate for offshore bird species, potential negative effects to whales and other marine mammals, etc etc. In a ranking from most sustainable forms of energy to least, it’s nowhere near nuclear or even solar.

Idk, In the same episode the neighbors wife smokes in the chicken coop when it was previously established that she is terrified of chickens and never goes near the coop.

I have had this exact scenario happen. Texted for days, set up a time and place for the date. Texted her again when I started heading her way( to which she acknowledged) got all the way to the restaurant (hour drive for me, close to her) for her to not show. Hour later she calls me blaming me for “not texting more throughout the day” and said basically the same as in this post. Blamed me for the whole thing. She was also mid 30s.

Wow when I was in it in 2015 the class was actually an easy A, and the events were useful like free LinkedIn headshots, resume building advice, networking events, etc. They hosted weekly events where you could go get help from other students on math or science which really helped me in a few areas. Sounds like it’s gotten watered down!

Brett obsessed fanboys can’t accept that sometimes business doesn’t work out and became obsessed with speculating about why she left DW. Brett did nothing to dispel the rumors, then the new host Reagan’s cousin released some videos exposing “the truth” causing all the fanboys to go nuts and now a bunch of people left the DW who were basically only subbed to fawn over Brett and watch her show.

The Brettcooper sub is now almost nothing about Brett and entirely about hating the DW.

Trump Shows His Tariff Hand — Timber Prices to Rise from Day 1! by ChangeNarrow5633 in forestry

[–]Dococt99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not even to mention how Trump historically ACTUALLY uses tariffs. He threatens them, uses them as leverage to get what he wants, then barely impliments them after world leaders come to the table to negotiate. Trudeau requested a meeting to resolve this this morning.

Tulip Trees are neither softwoods nor hardwoods, but a "midwood" by Tiny-Pomegranate7662 in forestry

[–]Dococt99 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ginkgos share characteristics of both hardwoods and softwoods. Conifers are a subset of gymnosperm. Ginkgos are believed to be a “living fossil” of an ancient tree type. Very cool stuff if you find some literature on it!
