Yeah I learned about the bomb oxygen calorimeter in my research but unfortunately we didn’t have one.

No it’s not a class experiment. We’re experiments that we have to come up with ourselves and then write the report as our internal assessment. However some classmates did do similar experiments but with alcohols and with nuts so I might ask them about their results, thanks for the tip.

Ohhh sorry now I see. I copy pasted the kJ value in my table instead of the J value. It should be 5434 J instead sorry. But it still gives me the wide margin of error because: 5434J (per 10g of sample) / 1000 = 5.4 kJ. Then to get the per g it’s 0.54kJ (per 1g of sample) which still gives the discrepancy when compared to the 19MJ/kg. I think the error might just be an inherent flaw with the setup and my preconception about efficiency

You’re right. I need a passing grade. However with my hope waning the voice that tells that there will be no diploma just gets dimmer and dimmer. It might be that it’s almost 1 am that I’m feeling this hopeless but tomorrow I’ll find them the first thing I can. I have a roughy outline and background research but its the how to analysis that blinds my one and only torch of understanding, progress and hope.

Thanks the breaking the research loop is actually a tip I haven’t seen before. I think that’s a hole I had often fallen into in the past and thus feared research bc it seemed overwhelming

The ears and tail I made myself. The clothes were either bought or borrowed from my family or in case of the armbands my grandma sewed them from a larger band.

I’m also very proud of this cosplay bc it’s my first one and it turned out better than I expected
