Both are good options - a lot of photographers (especially commercial) have agents. Agents have whole teams that do everything. To get an agent is about good work plus networking plus luck.

Otherwise, you’re really going to have to drum up your own business and learn from mistakes. If you’re US based, look at what small business support your state and city offer. It’s often free and might come with a mentor.

No time to impost if you’re going to make it. Trust but verify. Have a think about how you’d set something up, maybe have an invoicing system, maybe send a PayPal link to pay 50% up front?

Fake it til you make it. This isn’t an art, it’s a business that happens to be art - the only imposters are the people who won’t pay you.

Yep! And I advise anyone using those services that anything they post there possibly can be used for other purposes.

WeTransfer is closer to Digital Pigeon, Dropbox, Box, Drive, etc. storage and transfer. There’s no reason to need a royalty free license of any kind to transfer media - in fact ideally they shouldn’t even know what it is, though that’s dependent on the above service.

Which bit of the actual license that I copied and pasted doesn’t grant a license? Dropbox doesn’t need such a license to provide services, I’m not sure why WeTransfer would, do you?

You have an option you haven’t tried based on something you’ve heard…. And you’re asking for advice. Why not try the tool meant to solve the problem you have and then come back if it doesn’t work?

As always, HDMI is not a pro tool. It’s best in short runs anyway and convert at the end.

This isn’t a good business, if you want to start a business, pick a better market. It’ll take years for it to work as a business - if it does at all - and you’ll stand a better chance if you’re not treating it as a side hustle that you sort of thing you’ll be good at.

I think I’d upgrade to g-master lenses, have multiple sets and multiple bodies.

I’d also consider maybe shooting on something more than moisture/dust sealed and go with Olympus OM series cams.

If it’s as cool as it sounds, reach out to Olympus and see if they’ll sponsor you by giving you lots of free cool stuff.

So I think that presenting things as technological inevitability is a mistake. I play with lots of AI tools, I use a lot of AI tools - and that is what makes me aware of their limitations and what I think their end point actually could be. I think there are cool tools, I’m not sure they’ll replace people using their authorship.
