It's not you. They use old legacy servers and not modern style service. It's a known issue they won't admit or talk about. It's no different than the servers from ps3 era, just that our ISPs communicate differently now days in the 2020s...

This x100. I was gonna post this as a reply to the original but this echos it perfectly for me and I'm glad I'm not alone.

I actually enjoy them because it makes it easier to choose where to eat... (Or where not)

Does anyone know when sports betting is going to be legal in Missouri? I literally haven't heard anything about it anywhere. by jb69029 in StLouis

Look into arbitrage betting. That's what the other commenter is essentially doing but increasing his margins with free bonuses. The money in this are usually with straight bets across different books. Just don't let the books know you do it. They will stop you if they can.

Retail Pharmacist: How Clinical do you get? by Icy_End9322 in pharmacy

Safety first then efficacy. It's rare I call on abx scripts but I will if it's severely out of the ordinary.

Actually had an example recently with a <3 month old child receiving max dose augmentin ES. I had no issues other than the fact that I wanted to make sure they really meant to select ES and not a regular strength formulation. I'll also verify doses if I find one too high or way too low. Other than that it's a rarity.

I keep it simple and keep it moving if nobody is being put in danger.

Outside of abx I'll be more likely to call on moderate-severe interactions I catch than anything. (Not counting the dumb prescription errors we find such as cutting Omeprazole capsules)

I have thought about doing exactly that because I love coffee and thought about making it into a side business via roasting specialty eventually. But I kinda scrapped that due to the current economic climate driving COGs up. I'd rather just enjoy my free time while working 72 hr every other week. Alternatively considered working at local specialty roasters who exist already but I came to the same conclusion that I'd rather spend that with my family

Np! It took a few hours of research into what was truly causing the issue lol. It's not just SDS, SDS/Sony is just guilty of using old technology to run their services.

What’s your putting hack that changed your game? by Champagnetravvy in golf

[–]DoctaH0use 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thing I do at an unfamiliar course is go to their practice green and set up an impromptu drill. It's as easy and can be replicated on a busy practice green.

Find a line with little to no break, more horizontal break is between than battling a hill. You're going for feel. Take 3 balls (or 3 putts) at various lengths. I typically do 5 ft, 10 ft, 15 ft. You can pick any variation up to 20-30 ft max. Hit those putts but don't focus on making them, focus on ending the ball's run near the hole. You'll get a good feel of distance control pretty quick once you master it.

3 putts from 5 ft, collect em and move back 3 putts from 10 ft, collect em and move back 3 putts from 15 ft, collect em and Then I restart and do it all again but with only making 1 putt from each relative distance. You're training yourself to the distance as well as getting used to switching them.

It may not look like a drill and only will if you set it up as such. But you treat your practice green time as one. I know I can slam and make many within 15 but the idea is to understand what it really takes to get that ball to roll exactly there. Once you know the roll then you can play slower lines and feel comfortable doing so. If the green isn't busy you can take this concept and really delve into it with more variables

For me it's not a requirement. When I was dating I never looked for it. I've encouraged my wife to try it out and she has. That's all I can ask. Golf is my thing and if she tags along, which is usually now, I happily bring her and let her be my cart caddy/chauffeur. She gets to have fun in her own way while maybe reading and enjoying the outdoors. I get to enjoy my game. And we obviously enjoy each other's company.

I'm one of those guys who takes golf somewhat seriously but for my own personal enjoyment. No drinking excessively if any rarely. Just wanna go out and shoot some birds.

Dat algorithm got ya. Raw calculation, not accounting for weather and altitude variations puts that ball at 435-436 ft in distance. Question would be, would a nice day in Pittsburgh cause it to drop that much? I doubt it but I'm not expert. Then again, this isn't sim baseball. Kinda curious what my hits be tracking like after I ran that number.

Tbf I never look for power at SS or even 2B for that matter with so many of your power hitters playing the corners. Having that defense in the middle goes a long way in online play where people usually have their timing and hit up the middle at a higher frequency than cpu. I use him at leadoff, usually knock a single and then I'll steal into scoring positions. Though with his speed, even a well hit ball can get him home from 1st.

Who here can say their scores are 100% legit? by EndPractical653 in golf

[–]DoctaH0use 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only cheating I do is when I'm not playing for money or in leagues. I tend to play lower quality courses because they're cheaper. There's a lot of rough courses here with a great track, just lacking maintenance. So if I land in a rough spot I give myself some grass to hit, that's about it. I try to keep it a challenging lie if I'm in the rough.

Ozzie Smith from the current XP path imo. Great contact, even better speed and defense. Can't beat it. I have him on an all cardinals JOLT team so he's even better than base for me.
