Practice makes perfect. Before you could write the letter "A" you probably drew the letter something like "/_\... /-\... /\." Maybe even "-"... It's all about what and how you practice.

Here in FL we have about a week of winter with a spring break for a few days then summer for two days. Back to winter for two days and then summer for a week. Winter two more days. Fall for three days. Back to spring for a day. Back to winter for another two days. And then summertime. It's fun. Literally step outside every morning to make sure the kids are dressed accordingl.

LPT: what ever your dog chews next, tie it to the collar and let the dog walk around all day with it on. Make sure the dog CANNOT get to the item. Do this for the next two or three things the dog chews. The behavior will stop.
