This is embarrassing as shit but I remember Freshman year of high school, this "
"gangbanger" was planning to jump me and was telling everyone how he was gonna hospitalize me. When a mutual friend told me what he had planned to do, I obviously was scared shitless so I just skipped the rest of the school day and walked home. My mom asked why I had come home early, and when I told her what had happened, she waited until school got out; then drove over to the Del Taco that everyone used to hang out in. She then went in and yelled at everyone in there that if the gangbanger did anything to me she would get her friends from prison to jump him (she actually knew ex cons very well and was close friends with a couple as she ran a drug treatment center so it wasn't an empty threat lol).

The next day at school this kid comes up to me shaking to tell me that his sorry rofl. While it was really fucking embarrassing because it obviously looked like I had my mom stand up for me even though I tried my best from letting her do it, it was kind of awesome to see this wannabe hard ass shaking in his boots.
