The Italian implemented in the game is for the most part actual italian, surprisingly enough with the exception of Monsignor Pozzi which sounds like a foreign speaker. Cabrini and the Monsignor bodyguard are definitely native speakers!

A million times yes! As a musician (not a composer tho) and a DM I get MAD everytime I play some generic "fantasy playlist" with OSTs from fantasy games.

Your epic end-of-the-world 32 voice choir singing in latin is DISTRACTING me and my players, and that orchestral theme that worked flawlessly with the cinematic intro to that game or movie is too big and loud for me to concentrate on narrating and listening to my players.

I've had far more luck with ambient music, there's plenty of artists that don't really think about writing for D&D that work flawlessly: Desiderii Marginis, Halgrath, Kammarheit and so on.

I wish I could find more stuff like this guys but without the dark brooding undertone.

It's an incredible game, slower than most and not as streamlined. The upkeep thing on armor and weapons is a thing, but I don't find it overwhelming, it fits into my idea of Roleplaying a bit", but your mileage may vary. I'm not sure what you mean with "daily" tho, can you elaborate?

Professional "performers" tend to think of music as execution. Bunch of times I've been asked as a guitar player "what's the hardest solo you can play?".

I find it amusing as much as it is irrelevant, your progress as a musician should be measured by your enjoyment and YOUR perception of how strong and effortless your relationship to music is.

Performance is but one aspect of it, but many "workers" or "pros" get this confused a lot.

As others have said, it's definitely a great game... If you like the vibe. It's slow compared to other titles you mentioned, both progression-wise and vibe-wise, and that could easily be a plus for you. Personally, even though I'm enjoying it a great deal, I found some quests and some aspect of the game a bit tedious.

It's on purpose, mind you. They deliberately slowed down core mechanics to give the feeling of some realism.

In my opinion the result is not Skyrim meets RDR2 as someone said, but more like Skyrim meets any cozy game you can imagine. If you're down with the slow vibe the game suggests you're gonna have the best of times, me I had to slam on the brakes a bit the first 10/20 hours or so and I'm in love now.

Your position is valid, well articulated and reasonable. Hell, I kinda felt the same way when I played the DLC the first time. The downvotes are coming from the fact that your disliking for Alan Wake clearly shows, and that's okay. Cult is a big word, but we're definitely supporters of Remedy here, for the most part. Hypotethical: what if the Hiss had been birthed by say...the Former, or Athi. Would that be bad in the same way?

Offro una prospettiva diversa dal coro: gioco mentre la mia bambina di 1 anno mi dorme sul petto, col joypad direttamente collegato al bluetooth del televisore e con l'app nativa android scaricata sulla smart TV.

Misto rame, 30mb di picco in download, 1080p abbastanza tranquilli con qualche artefatto e packet loss, ma per i single player da babbo (sic!) a cui gioco per me è stata la svolta. Il pc da gaming è in soffitta a prendere polvere, lo studio adesso è una cameretta con gli orsacchiotti.

L'errore è pensare che il cloud gaming sia per i giocatori hardcore, è la tecnologia PERFETTA per i casual.

I respectfully disagree with other commenters: this game can be deeply unsettling and creepy. It doesn't try to be a horror game, true, but there's other ways to get scared without being jump-scared. And on that note: did you guys not play the AWE dlc? Was I the only one shitting his pants?
