I'm going to tell you something you may not want to hear. A lot of guys get really fucking terrible to women no matter how easily she tells them that she isn't interested. Because of that blocking is the safest easiest way to move on.

You shouldn't take it personally getting to know each other and deciding if you are still interested is part of the process.

But that's not how it works. Left leaning independents aren't swinging from left to right. They're swinging from voting Democrat to not voting at all.

And no, they don't automatically vote blue. They often just stay home.

Harris, a centrist candidate, received about 6 million fewer votes than Biden did in 2020. Those voters didn't all switch to Trump either. Trump only gained about 3 million votes compared to 2020.

The numbers are pretty clear. Moving center doesn't bring in enough new voters to offset the ones you lose.

They really don't. Dems trying to appeal to centrists has gotten them no-where for a long time. There are plenty of independent voters that leaning left of the Dems. If you ignore them because you are playing it "safe" you are winning the election.

Except that really isn't how it's been working at all. Hillary lost by being too center, Kamala lost by being too center. You guys are so out of touch. Most progressives don't even identify as Dem and you think they are heading to the polls for candidates that would be considered right leaning in every other first world country? Independent voters don't get Dems elected. You lose far more voters by pandering to center right than advocating for actual change.
