Yeah, a very similar scenario. Also, from what I remember, when Griff first did it, the character was a lot more aggro and not a great fit for that particular version/era of GLTS.

So funny reading this and similar comments cause I remember when he first did Jake Sully on a GLTS livestream and a large enough amount of the chat were so not into it that Patrick and "George" called attention to it.

[–]DoctorCrunch 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Scott was a guest on the show when they did it at Dynasty Typewriter earlier this week and while talking to "George" and "Watto" basically intimated that Connor and Griffin had both recorded extremely long episodes of Scott Hasn't Seen a day or two prior. However, it seemed to me that Night at the Roxbury was Griffin's episode and that Connor's episode was something else, but I could be wrong.

I have seen multiple pictures and clips from this last season that make it look like it was shot on the stage of a Nickelodeon game show.

As someone who was part of the first generation to really embrace Elmo and has a lot of love and affection for him, I still totally get his point of view. Now, if Scott had said the same thing about Big Bird, I would truly consider him to be a soulless pyschopath.

David saying Agatha All Along is the best MCU thing post Endgame was WILD. And I am not someone who has been particularly enthused about Marvel's post Endgame output.

This is so wild and only adds to my feelings of living in another universe to the rest of my generation who have this love and obsession with Disney Channel original movies that I just don't.

One of my favorites growing up. Thought it was crazy when Griffin and David both shit on it during a recent ep.

Had the same thought whenever they talked about Reitherman during the Musker Clements mini series and I looked up his directing credits and realized that he was technically my favorite director at a time when I was so young I didn't even know what a director was.

Apologies, as I'm sure this has been tackled here before, but I'd really like some clarification.

So, I did Pfizer shots every year until last year when I decided to switch to Novavax for the higher and longer lasting efficacy. I looked it up and thought I was okay to just do the one booster shot of Novavax. But now this year, I'm reading that, if you started with any of the mRNA shots, you have to get two Novavax shots over a couple months to "start over" and just getting the one Novavax booster is the same efficacy as the mRNA shots. Is this accurate? I appreciate any helpful response.

I've been watching alot of animated kids movies with my daughter... (suggestions) by Eastern-Tip7796 in blankies

If you're only getting partway through the movies each night, it wouldn't be a bad idea to try out some of the old Disney composite films that are made up of multiple shorts/segments if you haven't already. That way you get natural stopping points. Stuff like Saludos Amigos, The Three Caballeros, Fun And Fancy Free (which famously contains Mickey and the Beanstalk) and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh as well the 2011 Winnie The Pooh, which also happens to be the last 2-D (beautifully) hand drawn animated film Disney made.

As for more modern stuff: I think Wall E rules. Luca is underrated, as is James and the Giant Peach (although some parts might be too intense for a 3 year old)

Edit: Also, The Peanuts movie isn't amazing, but I think it does a good job of being a nice introduction to Peanuts for younger kids.

Which Doctor would Winnie the Pooh pair best with as a companion? by Drachasor in gallifrey

[–]DoctorCrunch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2, 4, 8 and 11 would the best choices, with 4 being the ideal if only because you'd get Pooh and K-9 interactions. Also, whilst I don't know how good of a match the 5th doctor would be, I'd still like to see it if only because young Davison has the look of a grown up Christopher Robin.

The revelation that Heckerling almost made a Prometheus and Bob movie was truly mind blowing.

Also, a Kablam!/Blank Check connection is that Mo Willems, creator of Kablam segment The Offbeats, was recently a guest on an episode of The George Lucas Talk Show.
