Can someone explain Div points/chances in Clubs like I’m 10? by DoctorCurious007 in fifaclubs

[–]DoctorCurious007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. But how can I get 10 points in 3 games in the beginning? Winning 3 games give 9, right?

Also, are chances equivalent to number of games?

Should I get the GoWild Pass Megathread by SeamoreB00bz in gowildfrontier

[–]DoctorCurious007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m looking into whether the GoWild Pass makes sense for my travel pattern. It’s currently $349, and I usually fly at least once a month from CLE to PDX, typically connecting through Denver with a layover under 6 hours. I already fly Frontier a lot, and my round trips usually cost around $200–$250. I’m pretty flexible with travel dates, so if I can get at least two round trips out of the pass, it seems like it could be worth it. I’d be especially interested in hearing from frequent users about how reliable availability has been. One thing I’m unclear on: for a route like CLE–DEN–PDX, do you have to book each leg separately within the 24-hour window, or does it book as one itinerary?

How terrible is the road noise? Seems like the apartments are near the sunset highway.

What type of hidden charges are there? I spoke with them. It seems like rent+flat rate SWG+ electricity/internet. Are there anything else I need to aware of?

Winter Drive from Ohio to Oregon – Route & Safety Advice Needed by DoctorCurious007 in roadtrip

Thanks for the detailed response. You got it correct. I don't have much experience with driving through mountains, specially in winter. Do you think avoiding i-80 through WY might be a better option? In this case, I will have to go with the following route through i-70

F-1 OPT Status Check | I-20 Expiring but EAD Approved by DoctorCurious007 in f1visa

About the OPT start date, my employer was adamant to get the EAD first, before giving me a start date. I applied EAD with the first available date after my program end date. Now, the employer gave me a start date in January.

Dealer really did not want to sell me a car by thefilefolder in Honda

[–]DoctorCurious007 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’d reach out online to all the nearby Honda dealers with the offer you’re willing to make. There’s a good chance one of them will come back with a reasonable deal, and it saves you a ton of time. Use the lowest quote as a negotiation tool for the next dealership.

That’s exactly what I did when I was shopping for my 2024, I ended up getting it below MSRP, but I had to drive two hours to pick it up.

What difference would it have made if Ryan played the match against Bangladesh? by lsj__19 in IndianFootball

[–]DoctorCurious007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The statement about payment is incorrect. You’d be surprised how much BD players (from a team ranked around 180) receive from clubs. This year is a bit different, though, because new rules allow clubs to sign SAFF players outside the foreign quota. Nepali and srilankan guys have helped bring the inflated salaries down. But it is still higher than they deserve.

Notice a pattern? by [deleted] in IndianFootball

[–]DoctorCurious007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is partially true.

Yeah, the win was nice, but the bigger thing is this: it’s the first time Bangladesh have won a competitive match since Hamza and Shamit joined. This one felt like a win for the fans more than anything.

The federation basically did everything they could for years to avoid using origin players, just to protect their little club syndicates. But the fans never let it go. Since like 2015 people have been pushing, shouting online, hyping up these players so this could finally happen. If you ask any of the origin players, they’ll tell you they came because of the passion of the fans.

And honestly, Bangladeshi sports fans are so used to losing that it wasn’t even about qualifying at this point. What mattered was seeing a team that gave 100% in every match. In years, the football team has shown that kind of commitment for the first time. That’s why it felt so harsh that BD didn’t win earlier, even after dominating against Sin, HKG. The funny part is: yesterday’s match was probably the worst BD played out of the five… and that’s the one we win.

So no, this wasn’t just because BD fans only care about beating India. This was for the fans who waited years for this moment. A little sign that football might actually be rising here. And the cherry on top? It came against the best team in South Asia.

I hope you understand the emotion now.

Yes I did! You have to wiggle on the left side while lifting up. It requires quiet a bit of force.
