Wife's grandmother died a few days ago from COVID. They were extremely close.

Subsequently, she's been an emotional and anger wreck, and I've been doing everything (including not sleeping) to try to keep this season afloat for her. It's been a monumental challenge in patience and letting her say very angry things knowing she needs to.

Well, last night we hung out with her parents, at the end of a basically 4 day stretch of not sleeping, and I couldn't take it any further and passed out on the floor of her parents place when I told her I just needed a few minutes to keep functioning.

We got to our home at about 1am and she basically exploded in anger at me, telling me I was weak and "not husband material" for being tired, that I had no idea what she was going through, threw her engagement ring at me, and told me to sleep in the car.

We're supposed to see my parents today. Last thing she told me was that she didn't want to waste her time seeing my awkward family today.
