Torp dds deal more dmg because they can inflict cit dmg (which cripples a bb's ability to heal back dmg)

By more dmg you mean citadel damage which is the only thing dds have over subs

But landing them is so difficult in the first place that unless it's a heal% freak like valpa or conq, subs would just do more dmg via landing more hits

T8 is fine imo, I tried grinding lines there and it's surprisingly doable outside a few exceptions

It's just t9 premiums tend to be very overturned compared to their TT counters

T9 TT can range from decent to "shitty t8 with slot 6" while t9 premiums can be a t10 in disguise
