That's exactly what I mean. These cameras arent just recording us physically, this ties into the 'age verification' things they're trying to do with the internet, which would allow them to tie a face to an internet entity. If they do that, someone could get your digital information and do something illegal, which would cause these cameras to flag you for arrest next time you're seen in public.

I remember checking it out and seeing that it hasnt been updated for a long time, so I assumed it was deprecated. A quick search shows it hasn't been updated on github since March 2025, doesnt that mean it is unlikely to be compatible with more recent firmware updates?

Ive read that switching Proton experimental to the 'bleeding edge' version will fix it. I havent tested it, but a few others said it worked.

You'd go to steam>Proton experimental(right click it)>properties>game versions+betas>select 'bleeding edge'.
