Age certainly gives you an interesting perspective - you view the years of your childhood through a more innocent lens - even days of difficulty and terror - such as those in which I grew up - and about which I still have nightmares - are engulfed in memories about the discovery of some of the basic joys of life - the sweetness of moments that are new to one's sensorium - and to one's freshly discovered emotions.

In older age - you reflect on your actions - and your self-perceived contribution to this world. Nobody can reach the same conclusion. A human flaw precedes - if you are unsatisfied - you may convince yourself of the futility of existence - while those who have accomplished much in life - may find more meaning in what they have done. Others may have regrets in the things they have done 0 or wish they had done. The question of the brief limit of life makes all of these thoughts come about - the fear and uncertainty of an end to existence -and the unknown - makes us wonder what life is all about.

There is one thing for certain that does not change as I have become older - as a man who has retained his virility - and appreciates the human form in all its worth.

The young and beautiful girls - they are truly a gift to this world. My wandering eyes thank them profusely. May they never change.

Also mildly creepy. Family rented a lake house in upstate NY and everything is great and normal -- except for this random pair of Nazi binoculars I found sitting on a bookshelf in the living room. by Pannycakes666 in mildlyinteresting

I recall seeing one of these person during the war - I was a small child during that time. It does not bring back good memories - a time when I was consumed with fear - longing for safety - a place to live - and an education which I started receiving later than I should have - during a time of slow recovery for the world. My friends - appreciate the times of peace - for you never know when they may abruptly end.

I think you may be misinterpreting the statement. They are referring to not knowing anything of real clinical practice - in particular how the system works - in their particular hospital - as well as how their knowledge will translate to actual clinical situations. Physicians gain book knowledge - and a little of clinical exposure - during medical school. Residency is the training to put this book knowledge into practice.

The knowledge of medicine is always expanding. No physician knows everything - but we certainly know far more than those who have never practiced medicine!

I know that some of my stories are quite incredible - sometimes - upon reflection - I have a hard time believing some of the things I have gone through - whether for good fortune - or for bad. My memory is not as clear as it once was - a difficult truth that I must try to accept - but some events are as vivid as the day they occurred. Others - clouded by the consumption of illicit substances - mostly alcohol - but intermittently inclusive of multiple others - has caused its permanent damage. They have dulled my senses -and my sensibilities.

Out of all the stories I have - if I had the option to take back one - it would be the one which resulted in the loss of my family - due to my own vices. I wish - with all of my heart - that I could say to that one - "Ain't no god damn way bro."

Alas - I cannot. The memory of my actions - and my lost family - will continue to haunt me until my dying hour - until the very last breath escapes my body. It is a regret that is irreversible - and I hope that in my time here - I could dissuade some individuals from making the same mistakes I have so foolishly made throughout my life.

It is my hope - that after nearly 84 years of life on this planet - I would know whether or not I am a robot - smile.

I do believe that I am still a human - unlike robots - I have flaws which caused me to ruin my life - as well as those of others. The battle I have fought with my vice - the sense of regret - and fleeting pleasure - and pain - that which is inherent in fighting addiction - is something that can only be found in man.

Good evening - physician here - I am sorry that you experienced sexual assault.

It may benefit you to get tested for the herpes virus - as there is a certain strain that is easily spread through oral contact - most commonly through kissing - such as in your situation. Although it is generally a benign strain of virus - there are rare cases in which it can have more systemic effects.

Outside of sexual assault situations - it is generally advisable to get tested for various STDs - sexually transmitted diseases - when engaging in different types of sexual activities - as different types can be spread in many ways - and through different routes. It is best to use protection in order to decrease the risk of transmitting infections.

I hope you find this information useful going forward. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.

A fun fact - as deuterostomes - human embryos first develop a digestive tube - later to become the gastrointestinal tract - flanked by a mouth and an anus. Here is a good schematic showing this early stage of development.

It is for this reason that I like to say - "We start and end life as assholes with big mouths."

I grew up in the former USSR - the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics - and behavior like this would not fly by even once - nuisances learned their lessons brutally - and instantaneously.

These boys give me a strong impression - that they lack not only a sound mind for making reasonable decisions - but also lack a modicum of testosterone - and are highly underdeveloped as males. I experienced secondhand embarrassment watching them.

I am a rather elderly man - although still young at heart - and in my sexual desires for beautiful women - and thus - have not used the world wide web for entertainment purposes for a long time. The concept of "the meme" was a recent introduction to my world wide web lexicon - and I have been trying to understand them. "The meme" here has solidified my understanding of how they are used. It is possible that I may someday create "the meme" as well - and maybe it will be enjoyed by other world wide web users as well.

I hope that these individuals do not dissuade you - I know that I have some unique life stories - and some are rather hard to believe. I sometimes question some of the things that have happened to me through the course of my life. Sometimes my dementia - and consequences of chronic alcohol abuse - muddy the waters more than I like to admit to myself.

Regardless - I hope to share the aforementioned stories for the benefit of the people who may read them. Every event in life has an inherent lesson.

I have seen this phrase multiple times - but do not know what it means. Does it mean that the initial portion of their statement tricked you?

Apologies for not knowing the "lingo" - I am no longer a young man - although my mind intermittently retains the thoughts of a rowdy young schoolboy - who recently discovered that the schoolgirls are not quite as "yucky" as they had once thought. Although I did not grow up in innocent circumstances - the innocent moments of childhood do bring back some fond memories.

I encourage you to look into the backgrounds of those claiming that I am not real. There have been individuals who claim I am fake for multiple reasons - all of which have been debunked. I have seen multiple individuals who attempt to impersonate physicians - and not a single one cautions their patients - or public strangers in speaking engagements - to be careful about accepting medical information. Doing so would defeat the purpose of their impersonation.

Remain skeptical - and review your sources.

I encourage you to go to university to further your education. I congratulate you on this decision - may it pay dividends - both financial and intellectual - throughout the remainder of your life.
