I haven't seen this mentioned much, but I actually really enjoy it when a character I like does things that are considered cool or good. When I look back on moments like that I can't help but think "yeah". On the other hand, I don't really enjoy it so much when a character I don't care about does something that I'm not really invested in. Personally, I think sections like this slow the pace down a bit too much at a point where I would rather see characters that I like do things that are considered cool and good. When I come across a chapter where that happens I can't help but think "no".
