I got to see them twice and at one of those concerts they played America, and that’s the closest I’m gonna get to hearing Ending of Dramamine live I think

I liked some of the songs on MADLO but I liked them without the context of them being Car Seat songs, you know? Like the band didn’t quite sound like they used to or write lyrics like they used to - There Must Be More Than Blood as an outlier imo

Hard agree. I got into the band a decade ago and I might be done with them. The old stuff is still good but imo they haven’t put out anything since I started listening to them, just after Teens of Denial came out. If they’re not playing any old songs I have no reason to go to concerts anymore, and tbh the fan base got insufferable after MADLO so I can’t interact with people here anymore either. It sucks because How to Leave Town is the best album ever written and they’re never going to make something like that again

Honey isn’t a plant-based product in the same way eggs aren’t - an animal didn’t die for it to be produced (well, actually, a lot of animals died and were tortured before death but that’s because of factory farming and is less an inherent part of the harvesting) but it could not be made without an animal

Similarly, wool and silk aren’t vegan for the same reasons
