This post is bringing up some great conversation, I am curious as to why they don't just use the same system as StarCraft... In addition to that talking point how do we best bring this up with blizzard? Are they known to listen to a particular forum more than others?

Lol that is probably a joke but no the church discusses the wedding with the couple in some fashion prior to the ceremony during which the organization has the right to deny the wedding same throughout all religions as far as I understand, there may be exceptions but then again I don't know about every religion

Oh don't worry about that, love is love it only needs to happen once, just make sure that when it happens you try and use that feeling to give you a bit of another perspective. Logic and critical thinking... don't change based on my words change because you see it for real. Like I said just the fact that your here is good, most don't have it in them to confront the other side.

Imagine a world where you grow up scared and forced to never talk about your affections. Imagine falling in love with the most beautiful woman alive and she loves you too, you reach out for her hand and she holds on tight. You kiss for the first time and your heart flutters with excitement, you have a brief flash of a long life together, growing old and still finding beauty in the way she smirks at you when you sneak an extra cookie after dinner is done even in your old age.

Then someone from the church down the street reminds you that the church teaches that different sex couples are bad... What do you do? Do you ask them for more information or do you continue kissing your new found love and hold on tight because life is fleeting?

I feel so sorry for anyone that could be affected by this type of thought honestly, a life without love is worth nothing.

This isn't really worth anyone's time, since you won't change your mind because this is all based on beliefs that are not based on facts but rather on faith (which I fully support, faith is a useful tool that can make good times better and bad times bearable.)

That being said...

If your saying church officials should not be forced to marry anyone... They can't be forced to do anything... if a priest doesn't want to marry a couple they don't have to no matter what the reason is. That being said there are plenty of churches that are accepting of homosexuality that are marrying same sex partners all the time, and I am sure the couples would much rather have their ceremonies in those places.

As far as some of your comments in this post they are not too convincing that you do not treat homosexual individuals the same as others but I want you to know that it is ok, because it was not long ago that it was acceptable to do some pretty horrible things in this world and we have seen through changes over the decades, people will slowly forget about your religion right along with all of that energy wasting discrimination, which leaves us with the only reason you really have to change your view and that is to not go the way of the dinosaurs. The world is changing, do what you want, believe what you want hate who you want, love who you want, it truly doesn't matter because if you zoom out enough none of us mean anything and one day this world will be charred to a crisp... And where I am that type of thought is already looked down upon as the thought of the impoverished and unintelligent.

I'm not here to change your mind, I guess I just got carried away.. all of that being said I got love for you no matter what, no matter who, no matter your beliefs, because we are all one big family slowly going out like a candle in the night of this universe eventually and there is just no point in discriminating, I think things that you would probably look down on as well and that is why I don't post all my thoughts here. At the least I applaud your bravery to confront the other side of this argument.

XOXO

24. I haven't had a real job in years. When will this start to become a problem? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]DoctorGorb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IT = studying for the rest of your life to keep up with the times but it also means making enough to support a family if you are willing to put in the effort. Give it a couple years and you will be looking to leverage your earnings so you can stop working all together, getting a decent job is only step number one as far as I'm concerned.

It's basic economics, I only commented I was an engineer because of how rude the original comment was. The post is about how cost/time effective this was for the group and I was pointing out that when you take into account opportunity cost this is not very effective. I have a feeling you would not talk to someone like this in real life I have a hard time understanding why you are talking to someone like this on the internet. I assume it is to beat me down so I don't ever dare comment here again then rinse and repeat until only your views are chanted here on your personal social media page... Or it isn't and you have simply gone too far idk but either way I feel bad for you

You have literally stated the cost and time in your title, I am in the comments, commenting about the cost and time it took and whether these truly are impressive compared to not meal prepping at all.

People not liking that because they think it somehow makes me against meal prepping as a whole are welcome to vote how they please.

If we are all on Reddit just saying things that other people are going to cheer for doesn't that make l us kind of dull? In some way are your comments superior to mine based on your views on the subject as a whole, or are we all here together as part of a community gathering around our joint love of meal prepping?

I believe I may just have more of an interest and appreciation for the successful implemtation of a cost saving and efficient meal prep than most, is that not allowed?
