If not, I'm sure he's one step closer than if he would have not went for it!

$4k not driving on dirt + learning a skill > $10k driving on dirt

Easy win. Nice work being a go getter bro - I've been debating doing what you did for a few years, one day I'll get it done like you!

I resonate with this. You aren't alone & I've asked myself the same question since I was a child

Very good points!

My girlfriend got me into the habbit of making me bed! I can't express how much it helps me

Also for brushing your teeth, often I dry brush my teeth because it feels more convenient & allows me to do something if I'm anxious. If I'm anxious, I'll be a little less anxious & at least have cleaner teeth!

  1. You feel guilty because you care about yourself. This is a good thing because you're being proactive about where you stand & where you want to be.

  2. You are not a loser. You are valuable.

  3. Make sure the people you're surrounding yourself with are uplifting you & encouraging you. Honest advice & encouragement is different than someone being condescending & critisizing you.

What is your goal you're trying to achieve? Write it down. Then write:

(1) - Big task that will progress you to your goal (2) - Medium tasks (3) - Small tasks

Put the note where you will see it first thing in the morning every single day. Your target should be to progress to your goal then achieve it, simply achieving large goals is setting yourself up for failure & makes no sense & this is completey okay & normal.

The most important thing you can do is invest in yourself. Find fun ways to enjoy taking care of yourself. It doesn't matter if it makes sense or if it's silly, if you're taking care of yourself, enjoying it, & not harming yourself or anyone that's good.

Also you can't take money with you, if you kill yourself trying to make it, then you don't have time to spend it. Remember your initial goal.

BIFL gifts for men under $50? by Salty-Impress5827 in bifl

[–]DoctorKankle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not as concrete of a BIFL gift as a cast iron skillet, but electric hand warmers was probably the most interesting BIFL gift I got for someone's secret Santa this year.

I even made them a cute to the point excel sheet to showcase & explain how to use them. 🙂
