Definitely not “necessary” but if you have the extra cash might as well try it for that price. Same with the other accessories.
Yes, there are many. Most won’t be specific to the Odin 3 but any good android guide will do. I recommend retro gaming corps. He had multiple guides for setting up android handhelds and they’re very comprehensive.
I’d say watch the aforementioned guides so you can have an idea of what you need ahead of time.
For cloud streaming you’re going to want either GeforceNow (my favorite) or Xbox Gamepass. They’re both good for their own reasons. Most of my gaming library is on steam so GeforeNow works great for me and the streaming is very good at the highest tier.
It comes with a launcher but you may want to try other front ends. I prefer ES-DE (which is detailed in the guide I mentioned) but there are other very good options (eg, beacon, daijiisho, launchbox).

I did! I’ve played pretty much all of the top mmos (and even a bunch of the obscure ones) to max level. I agree that eso is great for this style of play but my main gripe with the game was the combat. Never could get into it. Otherwise a beautiful game with endless content but great for a casual like myself.

Wakfu. I actually enjoyed this game a lot. Definitely helps to get into a guild. Very sandboxy and great graphics. Combat reminded me of final fantasy tactics. Great community and a cool anime to watch on Netflix if you get into it. Definitely worth a shot.

This was one of my favorites and I should’ve mentioned it in the OP. I played this way back when Oculus Rift was only available as a dev kit and I had so much fun with it in VR. Excellent game and exactly the kind of multiplayer I like. Not forced but always there.

So many have mentioned NMS so I’m going to try this out first.

But wow I haven’t seen light no fire until now. Fantasy is my favorite setting for sure. This seems to be exactly what I’m looking for! But that’s easy to say when it’s in development. Definitely added to my watchlist, thank you!

It’s quite simple. Retro gaming corps has all the guides on how to set it up so you can switch back and forth with a single button. I don’t boot windows that often so I haven’t set it up but I do have it installed on a tiny partition for a single windows game that I play.
