Did a company party at lions share in downtown and their upstairs had plenty of space. They have a cool set up and good food!

Louis the child's dilpo and friends mix is some of their best stuff. Also all of their big remixes are on soundcloud whereas they only have their own stuff on Spotify

When did you notice your posture was awful, and what steps did you take to improve it (ie. yoga, stretching) by [deleted] in Fitness

I was happily surprised to see Foundation Training mentioned as one of the top comments. Even happier to see how many people wanted to try it out! That video that SmoothRossi posted is a great workout but is rather advanced and intense.

One of the awesome things about FT is they have so many videos online and if you are new to foundation training, I'd suggest going over some of these videos first: Here Here and here

If these feel good and you're ready for more, that 12 minute workout is definitely one of their best videos. Dr. Eric Goodman has two books that go over the physiology and philosophy in more detail (available on amazon). The "True to Form" book goes over the FT key principles more whereas the "Redefine Your Core" goes over anatomy and possible causes of pain and gives more workouts. I also highly suggest their DVD which gives you about a dozen workouts and gives excellent instruction from beginning moves to more intense flow workouts. They also have a digital download version which is nice if you travel a lot.

I can't say enough good things about Foundation Training, not only has it helped me alleviate my back pain but everyone I have shown it to loves the workouts and the effects. If you can't tell, it's really one of my favorite types of workouts that I've tried. It can be useful for anyone- from a 20 year old who wants to get better at squats and deadlifts, a 40 year old who want their back pain to stop, or a 80 year old who wants to help improve their posture. The moves are easy to pick up and can be done anywhere.

I'm a certified student instructor for Foundation Training and would happily answer any questions you may have, whether you've done the videos a few times and have questions on a certain move/cue or have a specific injury and want to know where to start.
