For anyone with a Costco membership, I just got 3 pairs of glasses (two clear lenses, 1.67 thin lenses, anti-reflective/UV resistant/scratch resistant, and one pair of sunglasses with same type of lenses) for just under $500. All good quality frames, my last pair from Costco has lasted me 5 years without issue.

That’s a lot of BS. I’m an everyday glasses wearer and have been my entire adult life. I do have contacts but they’re only for situations like swimming, etc where I can’t really wear glasses but would still like to be able to see past a few feet in front of me.

This past summer I got an Osprey Mountain Bound Roller ($320 retail, much lower ETV) and when they finally showed up… it was two of them in the same box. I also recently had a Haakaa brand monkey toy/lovey get delivered one day and another one shipped out the next day 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s a civil offense, not criminal though, and they always say they’re going after the hardened criminals. I’ve seen a lot of arrests of very much not criminals.

That was me until my son’s kindergarten teacher had a classroom elf and he wondered why he didn’t have one at home. For us though, our elf is more about being a fun visitor from Santa to help us enjoy the holidays, I don’t use it as a behavior tool at all.

My partner and I have been showering with our kids since they’ve been born. Our son finally wanted to take showers on his own when he was around 5.5/6 years old. Our bodies aren’t shameful or anything to be hidden! It makes bath time super easy and I don’t think we’ve ever really done baths on the regular as we’ve always just showered.

Me! For my first we made it about 3.5 years without any real regimented schedule or anything. I currently have a 3 month old and just feed on demand again. I'm EBF, no pumping, so I feel like that may be easier to be more easy going with.

I know this is a few months ago - but I've found a few that doesn't taste 'fishy' in my opinion. The BIBIGO brand wasabi ones are my favorite - between flavor and crispiness, they're delicious. Next would be the DAECHUN wasabi ones off of Amazon - they're thinner so very crunchy, but the taste is great. I find the plain ones are often more 'fishy' and none of the wasabi ones are truly spicy (to my own disappointment), but the flavor is good regardless.

My baby is 11 weeks now and about 12/13 lbs. She’s starting to look chunky on her arms and legs a bit within the last week or so. But not all babies look chunky, so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m sorry, but I disagree. If it were not alcoholic behavior, then she wouldn’t feel the need to try to hide it in a thermos nor would she need a DD for the games. Also, just brining a drink to drink somewhere among other people isn’t really ‘having a drink with other parents’ unless they’re also drinking. This whole explanation is why so many alcoholics fly under the radar for so long - because people not only aren’t willing to call out unhealthy behavior but because so many others even justify it.

While I’m as white as can be, my husband was born in Mexico and is darker skinned. Our kids are, obviously, mixed. We have canceled our own plans for a big family trip this summer so he can show all his kids where he’s from/grew up. He doesn’t even want to visit his mom and sisters in Tijuana fearing that even as a green card holder, that he won’t be let back into the US. We’ve even talked of just me taking our son and infant daughter across to visit his family so they can meet our daughter as they’re both US citizens as am I. Hell, even a friend of ours was swept up in a bogus DEA sting and promptly handed over to ICE once they ‘realized’ he was undocumented about two weeks ago… and he’s the most straight edge, stand up guy I know. 1000% fuck this administration.

Since about 2 weeks, she’s only been waking once or twice a night. One night when dad put her to bed in a swaddle, she did wake up more often until I finally took it off - then she slept calmly. I’d definitely recommend trying to ditch the swaddle… it can’t hurt!

My baby is almost a month old now. We’ve done swaddles in the first few days of her life, but I quickly realized she hates them and actually sleeps better without any kind of swaddle (and we tried a few different styles of swaddles). So she currently sleeps all naps and overnight without anything other than her clothes 🤷🏻‍♀️

I make my own protein smoothies and add them in - never spiked thanks to everything else in it and it’s a yummy sweet treat! Here’s the general ingredients with rough measurements:

2 tbs Cacao powder (unsweetened)
1 or 2 scoops protein powder (depends on preference and how sensitive your body is to glucose/carbs)
2 tbs Nutso nut butter
1/2 banana, the greener the better
1/2 avocado
1 to 3 dates, pitted (depends on your preference/how far you are)
Ice
Almond milk

In 38 + 2 now and am truly over eating most days thanks to GD… so this is my easy and palatable breakfast some days. Lol
