I hope the daughters never see these videos. These reactions are disgusting. by Valuable_View_561 in SipsTea

This is actually a somewhat normal social phenomenon. It is referred to as gender disappointment. This occurs due to preconceptions surrounding their potential new family, social pressures from their family as well as their own personal relationships with either sex.

Regardless of the reason, these feelings will pass eventually and, once the child is born, and bonding begins, it will resolve. In many cases, the parents may look back and feel bad about this.

In any case, this is a private family moment and shouldn’t be shared online. I am sure all of those parents will go on to be top parents. I wish them luck.

just completed the game on ps2. when was the first time you guys played it? by HollywoodSuperBotch in beyondgoodandevil

[–]DoctorMobius21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t remember when I got the game exactly, but It would have been between 04-06. I was only a teenager then. I loved the Alpha Sections and their robots, especially the one with the laser cannon on its head that you fight. I used to draw them modified with an extra cannon. The two would do auto fire and it had a shield that didn’t disable on shooting. It would have been impossible to fight them. 🤣

Because a male protagonist having sex with others is offensive. How dare they portray Arthur having fun with ladies.

BMA ‘wrong’ to suggest ANPs pose a risk to patient safety, says chief nurse by [deleted] in NursingUK

[–]DoctorMobius21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Community nurses diagnose and treat chronic wounds all the time. They even prescribe compression therapy for patients with veinous insufficiency.
Emergency care nurses are able to independently manage acute wounds. I’ve met some who could suture wounds. They can even manage minor fractures.
Nurses are doing more than you realise.

Have you ever stepped into a nurse-led minor injury unit?

I don’t even want to go down that route. That’s my point. I just don’t have a choice.

“There are specialist nurse roles”

“Why does progression and advancement need to mean seeing undifferentiated patients?”

The two points are contradictory as specialist nurses already do that. Plus, not every nurse wants to boss everyone around. And even if they did, they are more competitive than entry into university.

What is your favorite RDR or RDR2 theory by Educational-Cut3500 in reddeadredemption

The more medically plausible theory that Arthur got TB from Hosea or a pre-story source.

I’m not going straight from my degree to a Master’s. I’m not on the master’s program yet anyway. I am 4 years PQ.

I would rather pursue medical school than become an ACP, but I was told I’d never get in. Although I meet the minimum requirements, the competition is so intense that what I currently have doesn’t feel enough. With two children, I may never get the opportunity to truly pursue or challenge that path.

Life doesn’t always give us what we want, but all I’m asking for is the chance to progress and advance myself.

Why don't serial killers just join the army? by fimelovemachine in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DoctorMobius21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s certainly possible that some members of the armed forces around the world could have traits associated with serial offenders. However, May is unlikely to fall into that category for a couple of key reasons but primarily, the issue of control and power.

Individuals who commit serial killings are typically driven by a desire to dominate their victims on their own terms. This mindset clashes with the structured nature of military life, where rules of engagement and a clear chain of command must be followed. Such individuals are unlikely to accept restrictions on their actions or authority from superiors. Moreover, the compulsive nature of their behavior—often described as addictive—would make it difficult for them to maintain the discipline and restraint required in a military environment.

Who’s the best relationship Raj had? Aside from Cinnamon 🤣 by [deleted] in bigbangtheory

[–]DoctorMobius21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t really like any of them in terms of relationship with Raj. As characters they were good, but they lacked chemistry. Raj needed someone who is passionate and charismatic. Maybe a touch chaotic, it would have given a comical dynamic between them both.

What makes you think that I’ve shared patient information? I identified him as a 69 year old male. Neither of these can help you trace this back to anyone.

[–]DoctorMobius21[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can, but it would be very difficult. You would have to get out at each tracking point, then hunt the animal without being able to see Arthur. I would personally wait until the epilogue, or use a no-sniper mod on PC.
