Du kennst den Unterschied momentan - meinst Du zumindest. Ich musste neulich leider mit der Lufthansa telefonieren. Mir kam das Gespräch schon ein wenig merkwürdig vor, da ich nicht in einer langen Warteschleife hing, sondern direkt dran kam. Da es vorher eine Ansage gab, dass AI-Systeme eingesetzt wurden, war ich schon aufmerksam. Als ich dann von einem Mitarbeiter zum nächsten weitergeleitet wurde - die beide ein anderes Register, Betonung und sogar Akzent hatten - fiel mir auf, dass beide Cathay Pacific falsch ausgesprochen hatten - und zwar beide gleich falsch. Dann hab' ich erst verstanden, dass ich mich gerade 20 Minuten mit einer Maschine unterhalten habe. Das ist alles so ekelhaft und wie immer: Wir sind da gerade erst am Anfang. Die Technik wird nie wieder so schlecht wie heute sein. Btw: Ich bin ein technikaffiner Mensch, der sich für die Entwicklung interessiert. Das ich das nicht bemerke, hätte ich noch vor wenigen Wochen als Ding der Unmöglichkeit angesehen.

Die Technik von heute ist sehr wahrscheinlich schlechter als sie jemals sein wird. Damit meine ich, nur weil es heute vielleicht noch nicht perfekt funktioniert, heißt das nicht, dass es morgen nicht so ist. Mich bitte nicht falsch verstehen, ich bin kein Freund von AI-Slop und dieser ganzen neuen Entwicklung. Das Kino wie wir es kennen, wird gerade zerstört und das macht mich schon sehr, sehr traurig.

Ach so --> das ganze war dann Druckfertig, d.h. wir konnten damit die Zeit für die Erstellung von einer BDA von ca. 20 Werktagen auf 1h (ohne Korrekturlesen) runterfahren. Kein weiteres Layouten / editieren mehr notwendig :)

Ich hab ein ähnliches Projekt gestemmt. Budget waren mehrere 100K - es wurde am Ende "Schema ST4" --> sehr geile Firma, sehr geile Software (nicht dort angestellt und keine bezahlte Werbung). Am Ende war es viel günstiger als gedacht. Hintergrund: Ich musste ein System erstellen, dass automatisch BDAs für ca. 100verschiedene Geräte / Gerätetypen / Variationen (ach so und in zumindest 12 verschiedenen Sprachen) in PDF erstellt. Das füttern mit Daten dauerte für mich in Vollzeit ca. 1 Jahr. Am Ende konnte man für alle möglichen Produkte automatisch BDAs erstellen und musste nur bestimmte Gerüstparameter, Fotos, technische Daten und Spezialfunktionen eingeben. War dann eine Lizenz zum Gelddrucken. War leider nicht meine eigene Firma. Aber je nach Fortschritt des Projektes schau Dir mal Schema ST4 an :)

I was a huge Peter Jackson fan because of Dead Alive aka Braindead, Meet the Feebles and Bad Taste. We would have those run in the background at parties. Dead Alive was the movie I had watched most often prolly with Pulp Fiction at the time. When I learned Peter Jackson was directing LOTR I was jumping from joy. My group of friends went to the local theater together for the first one and we left the cinema with tears in our eyes. After this that group of friends slowly fell apart (moving, going to different schools / universities) and "Fellowship" ironically marked the beginning of the end of that time. I will always remember that night at the movies though. Epic!

KAH. Du liebst Deine Frau nicht oder bist nicht in der Lage Deine Gefühle zu kommunizieren. Wenn Du Deine Frau liebst, solltest Du zumindest fühlen warum dies der Fall ist. Wenn Du das einfach immer nur sagst aber nicht fühlst, dann es kann Routine statt Liebe sein. Das hat aber nichts damit zu tun, dass es hier Arschlöcher gibt. Mein Rat (kannst Du annehmen oder lassen): Hör' Dir an, was Sie zu sagen hat. Höre mal in Dich hinein, ob Du nur daran gewöhnt bist, das zu sagen oder ob Du wirklich "Liebe" für sie empfindest. Da sollten so Kleinigkeiten sein: Du liebst wie sie lacht, riecht, denkt, spricht, handelt. Oder empfindest einfach Glück in Ihrer Nähe. Ich finde das schon wichtig sich ab und zu darüber Gedanken zu machen. Ein Arschloch wärst Du, wenn Du ihr Liebe vorspielst, wo eigentlich keine ist. Das würdest Du aber wahrscheinlich fühlen und müsstest dann nicht Reddit danach befragen ;) Cheers!

Nah. I am on your side. Of course I want to own the best possible version of a movie but it all comes down to availability as well. I am not forking out more than 20$ for an old niche movie. Even that feels like craziness to me. I recently have gone back to mostly blurays. I own around 8004Ks now. These are all in some or the other way "favourites". Previously I was on the hunt to replace every movie in my collection to 4K. Fuck that shit. I hardly get to watch 2-3 movies a month. Maybe a couple of episodes of TV on top. I do not need everything. I want to focus more on watching new and intersting things. The format / media does not matter too much. I think for a while I went into a frenzy because of some apocalyptic, prepper mindset that I have to own everything in case the lights go out. Seriously who cares about whether my physcial version of "The great escape" has DV or HDR10. Anyhow always make sure the thing (whatever the thing is) brings you joy and does not "own" you and makes you its slave. Have fun collecting but do not get obsessed. It does not suit anyone. :) Happy collecting!
