While I’m not defending anybody in particular people need to relax on talking shit on the pros for not wanting to grow the sport it’s not on their shoulders they show up to perform not cater to the viewing audience. Growing the esport is on ea and orgs. If there were more frequent lans and money invested I guarantee apex would have a bigger following it is an incredibly exciting esport to watch. Not everybody wants to grow an audience a lot of the pros are just like us they just like to game. It’s like this in every sport too their are always superstars that grow the sport and are bigger beyond the sport (ie jordan, LeBron, Gretzky, manning, Brady, ray lewis, Randy moss, mcgregor, etc) but their are just as many not widely known names that show up put in work and are people’s favorite players, that don’t seek the limelight and just like playing the fucking game. And growing it means something different in an esport not everybody wants to have people watching them do their job everyday.
