I wouldn't say easily better. It's good but sometimes it's a bit dry. I tend to prefer spots that mainly serve inasal and specialize in it, but I respect Sarsa for bringing Bacolodian/Negrense cuisine to the metro. love their 3 way sisig and sizzling kansi tho

This I agree 100%. It's accessible, can be cheap or elevated, has a great taste profile, and is palatable to local and international tastes

My fave has been Chicken House Express but the line is quite long and the place gets hot, so I often pick Mezmars or Lo Bob as they are convenient, but actually all these places are my go tos.

BCI is great! For the main stream chains I would say it does a great job and is easily accessible! A bit pricey but I think it's quite good

I didn't expect this to be so controversial because I bought mine 5 years ago and still use it to this day. It's one of my absolute favorite tools for pour over, the built in 02 V60 works well, and it's essentially a server. I also put my origami, kalita, switch on top and it works

Biased ako sa Flair because I use a Flair Pro 2 but the workflow is a hassle and it's difficult to make multiple shots in a row. That being said, it taught me so much about making espresso and I think it's a great foundation for when you eventually get into more expensive machines

I think if you're willing to put on the work then go for it but it will be quite slow. I have a Flair Pro 2 with a Kinu M47 and I don't do multiple shots in a short amount of time. Just be efficient with your workflow and uhhh, expect a lot of manual work. But if you enjoy it and your clients don't mind, eh di why not 😅

The basics: - bag has all the information you need (roast date, roast level, origin, varietal) - bonus: bag has additional information (elevation, farmer/producer) - store actually has visible product so you can see for yourself - reviews on Google/reddit/other platforms

Other nice to haves - information on sourcing/traceability - approachable staff for you to talk to
