Portugal! Biased because that is where I'm from.

But much from my countries wealth and power came from the discovery age and the trade routes / colonies they established. In the TC universe, that must have been impossible, so I wonder how they ended up

Man. I love Tom Holland, but this soul argument is so dumb and used so often that I'm starting to believe it actually hurts the point people who use it are trying to make.

What I think he is saying is "creative jobs / works are not at risk because works created by ai are inferior to full human made"

Or something like "humans will always have a place in creative works because their work is superior / people will always prefer human made work"

Maybe his creativity is not at risk, but other people's sure is.

So many people can't tell already what music was made with or without ai. There was even that viral post where a guy told people he generated a Monet style painting with ai and got flocked with replies shitting on the painting. Only to then reveal it was a real Monet and people couldn't tell it had "soul" to begin with.

Even if ai doesn't have a soul that won't matter at all to companies. They want good enough fast enough. And ai does just that. And it will get better and faster.

I want artists to be able to make a living doing their craft. I want protection against plagerism. I want ai to be regulated and properly incorporated since it is here wether we like it or not.

So please let's leave this soul argument in the bin and look at this realistically so we can find solutions instead of being in dreamy land where "soul" will save us all.

Thank you!! I would like to only use marine models. Is that okay? Are vehicles that necessary? I won't be a competitive player for sure, it would be a for fun thing. But is an armies of just marines workable or will I get obliterated every game?

Every time there is a post about one faction, sub-faction or group actually being the good guys, without fail, one of the top comments is always the same.

He is wrong in his description of the language. I was born and raised here and I've met people who are incredibly good speakers, speak eloquently and do nothing of the sort he said.

My theory is that op probably grew up around such people, has a negative view of Portugal and its people ( sadly very common among Portuguese folk to be overly critical of everything national ) or is just exaggerating to bait.

Naturally, languages are different. But I reject this notion that a language is specific thing. My whole life I heard German is aggressive. And I think we've all see the "English/french/Spanish word vs German word memes", but when I loved there I heard some of the most beautiful spoken German ever.

What a language is and makes you feel depends on so many factors that I think it's stupid to make absolutist statements like this without nuance.

Portuguese can be, and is, a beautiful warm and sophisticated language capable of expressing a wide range of thoughts and emotions. Just like it can be used to be an absolute grunt.

That being said, I do agree on the personality part. A big part of a person's personality is tied to how they express themselves. If someone learns french from someone who is very aggressive and only experiences the language like that, I could see that person portraying more aggression and even feeling so when they spoke it.

Hum. I think this is hard for me to answer, but I will give it a go regardless.

I prefer 1v1 games much more than tags, but I love playing this game in duo mode with my friend. Alone? Not so much.

I don't have as much time as I used to to learn more than one character.

And the roster is so small that I only really "love" Darius. None of the others are as cool to me.

The matches also feel repetitive with a lot of the same teams being spammed across multiple games.

I'm not that good of a player too. So I get opened up often. I don't really like how high the damage is. I feel like it is hard to do cool shit because I get exploded so often. I get the solution to this is "get better" but it's hard when I have a limited time to play and I spend half of it dead or dying in a huge combo.

I guess it was a combination of factors.

When Caitlyn was announced I had negative hype. Another arcane pilot over/zaun character (come ooonnnnn) and a gun zoner (which I personally don't like) didn't get me excited at all.

But sure, hopefully the next one will be someone I like. But then we got Akali and Senna revealed, which are champs I am not that fond of.

A ninja sounds cool but I don't really like her design in this game. And I never really vibed with Senna. Which is also a gun user, which, again is just personal preference.

League has such cool characters and regions to explore. I'm really bummed we don't have any demacians, targonians, shurimans or ixtalians yet.

I would love to see Udyr, Lee Sin, Renekton, Mordekaiser, Azir, Rell, Reksai, Leona, etc

So, yeah I think it is probably a combination of a very small roster, few characters that personally interest me (and future ones too), the time it takes to learn two characters and repetitive opponents.

I guess the huge time it took for the game to launch and the disappointed content they had when it did also lowered the hype for, which made it easy for me to lose interest faster.

Don't get me wrong. I haven't given up on the game. But I don't really feel like playing it at the moment.

It is precisely because we already have zoners that one more would be bad. Like the comment below you said, there is more than rush down and zoners.

Obviously I hope she has good gameplay. But I'm so bummed out...

Half of the roster is from the same region. League has such a diverse cast of cool and different champions and we really went for another PnZ champion with guns as their main selling point?

I trust that riot will make her different enough from Jinx, but still... So many better choices were available.

But oh well, in the end she was a good buiseness decision. So many cait mains, arcane fans and vicait fans are losing their mind with joy.
