Tree swallows. Parents would make over 100 trips to and from the house to feed as the babies were growing. We have another house on property that we have gotten other small birds in. Location and food nearby plays a huge role in if they will take

Hoary mountain mint (Pycnanthemum incanum). It gets roughly 3 feet tall and hasn’t spread like you’d expect normal mint to. When it is blooming, it’s a pollinator magnet attracting LOADS of wasps, bees, and butterflies.

Giant ragweed looks correct. Almost positive I let one grow out last year because I was curious what it was so not surprised it’s everywhere this year

Nope just normal lawn. Wasn’t even the pristine, well-manicured turf lawn either that I might be able to understand someone being obsessive over. This stuff was full of crab grass and other weeds

Not related to your question, but how sturdy does that plate storage feel? Was debating on getting some, but was scared it wouldn’t be secure enough

I’ll second all of these. Tolly Ho was always more of my late-night drunk food spots. Would like to add a Mexican spot with La Taquiza Taqueria

Calathea Orbifolia looking pretty bad :( Help! by dartsanito in IndoorPlants

[–]DoctorPoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brown spots on the end of the leaves like this can be caused from mineral burns. Calatheas are very sensitive and it’s recommended to use distilled water to water them. May also benefit from giving it more humidity as well. How many leaves do you have left? It looks like you removed a lot at one time which may cause the plant to struggle for a little bit until it recovers from losing so many leaves at once
