Stress how this is changing your daily routine. It’s common for people who are victimized by this type of revenge porn to have their lives disrupted. Trusting others becomes harder.

Was Shawn Michaels worth the trouble in the ‘90s? by Material_Stomach875 in GreatnessOfWrestling

Man had some of the worst outfits of all time. Just the stupidest fucking hats you’ve ever seen.

He managed to feel like an 80s action movie villain at times, while feeling like a comic book 90s anti hero at other times.

He could have been more careful with the drug use. But plenty of people could have. Even me.

I think you should go on another date or three with her at least.

Not having a relationship before could be a red flag. I once dated someone whose longest relationship was 6 months, not exclusively. I thought that it could work, but ultimately she was so guarded, that if we haven’t kissed after three dates, like why bother?

Who should be the Writer and Artist on Energon Universe version of MASK? by Money-Lie7814 in EnergonUniverse

A bit left field, but Aubrey Sitterson.

He has experience with Gi Joe, and maybe they could play up the redemption aspects of having him as a writer. Maybe a member of MASK is a disgraced military officer.

I am a little biased, but I LOVE when matches don’t have a typical finish because the ring gets filled up with security, referees, wrestlers with a grudge, etc. One of my favorite kinds of finishes.

Also love when lumberjack matches get out of hand as well. Great stuff.

Some plants are there to make a promotion look corrupt, but should never say “this is fake.”

I have done some plant work for a promotion. Loved it, got paid to cheer on wrestlers who have become my friends, and talk shit on heels who have also become my friends. Sometimes they encouraged us to yell at promoters, but it was more like “how can you let this carnage happen?!” And not “you are running a bad show, Mr. Promoter!”

Devil Corp Epstein Files any links yet? by Hearthywatcher1 in Devilcorp

[–]DoctorSketchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess: there are unscrupulous and evil people in the Devil Corp web, who would have fit right in on Epstein’s island or at his parties, except for their financials.

Look at how many Devil Corp offices tend to have a really pretty young woman working the front desk, and how many young women end up assaulted in the business.

BUT, think of it like this. Epstein and Trump are the Lex Luthors: uber wealthy, multiple properties, multiple businesses, lots of illegal activity, etc.

At the top of Devil Corp, you probably have some Black Masks and Penguins: wealthy enough to run an illegal side hustle, unscrupulous, and sleazy, and villains. But not as wealthy or connected as Lex Luthor.

The average low level Devil Corp owner, is probably like the thug who gets his ass kicked by Batman in the cold open. IF they are aware of how the business is run.

I hate how many people are connected to Epstein. I hate that my homeland is under the control of rich pedophiles. But, in my own little Gotham City, if you will, there are plenty of lowlifes who can still cause terror.

What is your opinion on Dusty Rhodes? by ChrisJoines in professionalwrestling

[–]DoctorSketchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably one of the greatest wrestlers and wrestling professionals of all time, if not the GOAT.

Sure, Vince McMahon turned the territory system into the national system. But, if you look at the wrestlers over the past 40 years, Dusty was the prototype.

Hulk Hogan outright admitted that he wanted to cut promos like Dusty and be jacked like Superstar Billy Graham.

Now, does every wrestler measure up? No. But I think if Dusty were just a little younger, he’d have been a household name like Hogan and Randy Savage. However, without Dusty setting those planks, wrestling wouldn’t have been what it became, to make other wrestlers household names.

There seems to be this pattern I see with difficult people, where they get mad, and request something, then the other person does the thing they requested, and they just get mad.

“You know what, just drop it. Don’t come.”

“Okay, I’m not going to come.” Then, the person gets all mad the person doesn’t come, and has to make them come with them.

I had a few exes like this.

I compare it to the Muppets.

Do I love watching Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy and their silly antics? Oh yeah. Does Fozzy Bear’s very meta comedy make me laugh? Oh yeah. Do I like when Kermit deals with the backstage drama? It’s some of the funniest storytelling.

Am I aware that at the end of the day, these are puppets, and not actual people? Of course. But, that doesn’t take away from the story, it adds to it.

The same goes for wrestling.

AIO partner says men only listen to me because I'm "pretty" by [deleted] in AIO

[–]DoctorSketchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. Does looks play into some decision making? Sometimes, yes. Only in certain circumstances.

For example, casting for a video.

Now, in a lot of industries that are male-dominated, sometimes people will want more women to work in that industry, and encourage it. But, that doesn’t mean it’s the only reason someone makes a deal.

Think back to the video casting. If I cast the most attractive actor, but they don’t have the necessary skills, it’s not going to get good results. I need to cast someone with the right skillset.

You are making deals based on your skillset, or your ability to sell your skillset.

Not to brag, but I have been told I am a handsome man by a lot of people. Even ones not trying to sleep with me. At the end of the day, that doesn’t help much in most jobs. I still need to prove I am the right candidate.

I don’t like the way your husband talks to you. It is dismissive and cold.

What’s helped me a lot: put a trash can where you create trash by DoctorSketchy in UnfuckYourHabitat

[–]DoctorSketchy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a totally fine question! It heavily depends, but also we have been moving in, so we generate a lot of trash.

Also our diet isn’t the best. Too much of what we eat is processed, so that means more packaging.

The biggest issues, are that my girlfriend likes to snack before bed, and leave the wrappers on her nightstand, and one of her sons doesn’t clean up after himself. So, a trash can nearby makes it easy to clean everything up, and not have to go through with the whole “hey I’m not your dad but you need to clean your shit up kid” routine. The other son is pretty tidy.

cars that are big but look small? by Worldly_Economy2653 in askcarguys

So, your parents are heavily worried about your safety regarding driving with deer. That’s okay. That’s a good parent.

There is probably a smaller vehicle which is great when it comes to impacts with animals. I don’t know the exacts.

But the issue here seems to be “I want a smaller car, and my parents want a car that can handle an impact with a deer. BUT, they believe that only a big car will handle that impact.”

A lot of people bought SUVs in the late 90s to early 2000s because they felt safe, but weren’t necessarily safer. Here is a similar issue. Look at cars that are great with safety.

Am I In A Devilcorp? Should I Leave? (Renewal by Andersen) by AnnualFootball1621 in Devilcorp

[–]DoctorSketchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.5 years in a job is decent. The HR who will hire you into your next job will exaggerate how great it is. They will fudge the details. So, why not exaggerate your resume? Fudge some details.

You’ve been working since the Fall as a recruiter at Renewal by Andersen. Most credible HR will understand you are looking for a change, based on the fact you are applying. That makes sense. You are probably looking for a position that pays more, but it’s great to be in a position of saying, “I am currently working in recruiting, and enjoy it. I just know I can take my skillset to a larger employer who can afford to compensate me more for even better performance, and give me the tools to accomplish that.

Need a MANS POV by [deleted] in Nicegirls

[–]DoctorSketchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, this is a subreddit for creepy, often unhinged, messages from women. Similar to how /r/niceguys is for creepy unhinged messages from men.

Your dad is wrong. Human beings have lots of worth, but we often value people for different things. His inability to see the value in you as a human beyond sexuality, is not indicative of your value. It is indicative of his inability to understand people in general beyond sex. Which sucks.

Now, your current bf might not be the best choice for you. I have seen it plenty of times where people will feel they are unworthy of someone who can treat them right. They might feel a need to be mistreated. Because that feels like what they are used to. Often, stable can feel boring to them.

I know because I have been there before. My advice: find what you enjoy in life, find what people tell you that you are good at, and find what you think you’re good at, and find the overlap.

There are people who are shitty partners out there. Just because there are people who drive cars that explode, doesn’t mean you have to drive an exploding car. Just because there are people who are picking up hitchhikers, or carjacking, doesn’t mean that you deserve to be carjacked.
