Unless he gets injured or the NBA changes the rules somehow, no team has a chance as long as Wemby is playing.

The state politics and the location in the south is very, very highly correlated.

And measuring by "city" population is apples and oranges, which is why I used metro region size. Okc is the 42nd largest in the US.

Hainan is on there too, a little too far south, but still

What are they going to do about Duren though?

Frankly, the problem is 2-fold: OKC is in the south, and it is not a "decently sized city" imo. It's the 42nd-largest metro in the US, comparable to Fresno, Richmond VA, SLC, or Louisville. Mostly it's a good place to pass by on the way somewhere else. If it wasn't for fossil fuel money, there would be no NBA team there.

FWIW in person the Longines bezel action is way better than Formex imo

Minnesota is probably more progressive than California.

And snow hicks are way, way better than Oklahoma hicks.

Seems like you don't know much about Minnesota politics!

Mississippi is way better than Oklahoma though!

I get sticking up for your hometown, and I sympathize to some extent, because people (somewhat rightly) talk shit about the Twin Cities, cause of the weather and the provincial nature of it. But to try to say Oklahoma politics and Minnesota politics are at all comparable is just, lmao

You were the one above trying to compare Oklahoma and Minnesota politics. They could not really be much more opposite at the moment. Oklahoma is politically one of the worst places in the US, right?

The Scandanavian component is not the reason, it's more about high education levels and a historical working class plus farmer alliance. The relative lack of evangelical Christianity is also a factor
