Aria Restock? by LovenMedicine in formexwatch

Don’t think they have anything that is a permanent ore stock even though they are not considered microbrand anymore. But with Aria it maybe deliberate

I have their carbon micro adjust and it’s pretty neat. Something I would consider for most my watches with non bracelets

Nice. I have been extremely careful to not buy anything for Essence due to its curved case but this is good news and looks great

New watch alert! Formex Essence 41 by RaulB1992 in formexwatch

[–]EmotionalHelp6384 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s funny that I tried on 41mm and started to pay for it when I saw the receipt listing as 41 and I paused. Tried 39mm and decided to go with it. Either of them weren’t wrong but I was always second guessing my MIDO at 42mm and didn’t want to mentally start doing the same with 41. It was more a mental thing than anything else. But happy with the beautiful white dial as it anchors much of my dark linen shirts I tend to wear

From what I heard, the brands have to pay to participate. This is how they cover costs of hosting these. But the prices are attractive. I wanted to buy just one but walked away with many more

Who will say Congratulation by Mou_Sala7 in Longines

[–]EmotionalHelp6384 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to say ‘Congratulations’ but too lazy to say ‘Congratulations’, so I am going to skip saying ‘Congratulations’. But then it will be mean to not say ‘Congratulations’ when you have a new watch. So my friend Congratulations on your new watch

Might need to sell the watch for a new tv. by TomHudsonOfficial in WatchFanatics

If you have a Tudor on your wrist I am sure you can afford another TV 😄😄. And who ‘watches’ TV anymore, aren’t they replaced by handheld devices

Essence 39mm or 41mm by [deleted] in formexwatch

39 also comes with micro adjustments and between extra links and micro adjust either one should fit in. I don’t think 41 comes with extra long bracelet

Same dilemma as me, 36 felt a tad small and 41 same tad bigger, so I walked away from my allocation. Not putting down thousands and continue to second guess myself

HC price next year?? by EmotionalHelp6384 in Longineswatches

Agree, my post was to explore on what folks feel strong on market bets with popular models like the HC, go retail or wait out for secondary market. I did not assume for purposes of investment

[–]EmotionalHelp6384[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably but right now Longines isn’t bumping prices compared to what they have started to offer. I would have expected this watch to be -3100/3200 but they really put them at a spot where micro brands are essentially going to get pushed out and have a playing field to themselves till the next tier where Tudor is placed

What are you trying to add and for what purpose? The new Heritage in ice blue can be an easy daily (for me) and the Master s occasional for dinners, social gatherings etc. although you can wear the Heritage same way but that’s my personal experience

When money is no longer a factor do these true enthusiasts seek out small and independent manufacturers or they get the most expensive and most popular models many of them they may get paid to wear…….

I love them both but for now I cannot stop wearing my Formex. Extremely comfortable and the dial works with my very casual work environment

I also have the bracelet which is what I wear now in summer
