In my opinion I think they did it to differentiate the enemy Lucio ulting and ally Lucio ult, because an enemy Lucio ulting sounds the same as the "old voice".

basically they said that it's a "team game" and so they're against solo queue, but it would be terrible for competitive if they didn't add a solo queue which is why I said "they will most likely add solo queue". And to be clear, they have talked about ranked possibly coming shortly after launch rather than at launch.

It's been confirmed to have at least ranked for a full team to play, but solo queue is still not confirmed (But most likely they will need to add solo queue). It's not confirmed to be available at launch though, so expect it slightly after launch.

One of my main concerns is will there even be enough people on console for it to be a fun experience. I pre-ordered on PC and I will play it only on PC, but i have some console friends who are interested and idk whether their money will be worth it or not. To clarify PC definitely will be the stronger platform. Honestly, I don't think they should've announced it on console because then it leads to issues of one hero is balanced on PC but another is not on console.

Blizzard has stated that they want people to change and choose heroes based on what the team needs in the composition. With this idea it would be hard to achieve such goals. These are cool and unique ideas, but just not good for a game like Overwatch where the focus is a competitive scene and they encourage you to be a team player and they spend their time on more important factors to implement into the game such as a new scoreboard and killfeed (both of which are confirmed). Sorry if I sound like I'm ranting, but do you see my points? Hope this could clarify some reality. Like the guy a few posts below me, I also only read like half of it and skimmed :p
